Surrounded by lush nature and stunning landscapes, the villa is just a short drive from the coast. Guests can enjoy the calm of rural Sicily while being close to the beautiful beaches of San Vito Lo Capo, the cultural charm of Trapani, and the historic sites of Erice and Palermo.

Trapani, a charming coastal city in western Sicily, is known for its beautiful setting between the Mediterranean Sea and Erice Mountain. Its old town features narrow streets, historical buildings, and picturesque squares, with highlights like the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and the Church of the Purgatorio. Trapani is famous for its salt pans, where the region’s prized sea salt is produced, and offers easy access to the nearby Egadi Islands.

Erice, a captivating medieval town perched on a hilltop in western Sicily, offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Its narrow-cobbled streets, ancient stone buildings, and picturesque squares create a timeless atmosphere. Villa Ofride is 20 km from Vincenzo Florio Airport Trapani-Birgi and Trapani Train Station, and 62 km from Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport. The villa is 1,5 km from Buseto Palizzolo, where all the necessary services can be easily found. The villa is 20 km from Trapani, 20 km from Erice, 27 km from San Vito Lo Capo, 45 km from Marsala, 85 km from Segesta.

The Property
Nestled in a landscape of outstanding beauty, Villa Ofride offers the perfect retreat for those seeking privacy and relaxation in the heart of Sicily, just a short distance from the sandy beaches of Cornino and Scopello. Built in the 1800s, this exclusive property has been recently restored, blending modern comforts with traditional charm. The villa spans 250 square metres and features three double bedrooms (two with an additional single bed) spread over two floors.

The property is surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden, featuring a panoramic salt-water infinity pool (11 x 7 m) and a spacious poolside area with comfortable sun loungers. The front garden’s paved area offers a peaceful spot to relax with a book and a glass of prosecco, while the stunning garden views create a sense of calm. The back garden has a large al fresco dining area with a table and barbecue under a gazebo, perfect for enjoying traditional Italian meals and the mild Sicilian climate.

From the front garden, guests can access the ground-floor living room, furnished with comfortable sofas. The same floor also features a spacious dining room for up to ten people and a fully-equipped professional kitchen with an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and freezer. The living area is tastefully furnished with sofas and antique pieces, while the arched window overlooking the back garden adds to the bright atmosphere. The ground floor also includes a laundry room and a bathroom.

On the ground floor, the double bedroom "Orprys Specchio" has an additional 19th-century single brass bed, access to the front garden, and an en-suite bathroom with a double shower. The "Orprys Sicula" bedroom also has a single brass bed, access to the back garden, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The "Orprys Apifera" on the first floor features a 19th-century brass double bed, access to the roof terraces, and a private bathroom with a shower. Two roof terraces with sun loungers offer stunning sunset views.

Retention time
