Tintoretto Apartment is in a beautiful 17th-century Venetian palazzo on the Grand Canal, with origins dating back to the 12th century. Located in the Serenissima area, it’s at the heart of Venice. Known for its grandeur, Venice offers endless exploration of canals, gondolas, art, historic palazzi, and narrow streets. The Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari, the city’s oldest church, houses a Titian altarpiece, and Titian is buried here. Donatello's sculpture of St. John the Baptist is in the first south choir chapel.

The Property
Tintoretto Apartment is located on the third floor of this splendid palazzo, which has been in the same family for nearly 200 years and is equipped with a lift for your comfort and convenience. The original 12th-century structure was crenellated and had two square towers. It was remodelled in the 17th century by the Venetian architect Bartolomeo Manopola and later redecorated by the artist Giuseppe Borsato in the early 19th century. Borsato was renowned for his artistic works, including those at the nearby La Fenice theatre.

Tintoretto Apartment accommodates up to five guests in two double bedrooms and a single bedroom. The master bedroom has an en-suite, while the other two bedrooms share a large bathroom. The extra-large beds feature Simmons mattresses, Italian linen sheets, and a choice of feather or non-allergenic pillows. The bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers, fluffy towels, and luxury toiletries. Additionally, the apartment includes a loft space with a shower room, comfortable seating with poufs, and access to the terrace.

The living room is light and airy, offering ample space for all. The dining room features an antique cabinet that has been part of the palazzo’s private furniture collection for years. On a more contemporary note, the apartment is equipped with a large flat-screen satellite TV and a Bose SoundTouch 10 wireless Bluetooth speaker. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need if you feel like recreating local delicacies.
