Offering a calm atmosphere and spectacular views of the surrounding valley, this magnificent six-bedroom villa is ideally located to explore the region’s cultural highlights and most spectacular natural wonders. The Veneto’s sheer variety makes it one of Italy’s most fascinating regions to explore. The cities of Verona, Padua and Vicenza are famous for their architecture, churches and museums. Despite lying a little in the shadow of Venice, the region is a popular tourist destination and boasts an abundant variety of attractions.

The villa is just a stone’s throw from Verona, a vibrant trading center, the largest city in Veneto and one of the most prosperous in Northern Italy. Best known for Shakespeare, Verona attracts a multinational gaggle of tourists to its pretty piazzas and lanes, most in search of Romeo and Juliet. But beyond the Renaissance romance, Verona’s center boasts magnificent Roman ruins and fine palazzi built of rosso di Verona, the local pink-tinged limestone. And all just a short hop from the shores of Lake Garda.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Mantua, protected by lakes, anchored by Unesco-listed Renaissance architecture and colored by a history that resounds to the daring deeds of the House of Gonzaga. Reigning for 400 years from the early 14th centuries, the Gonzaga family made Mantua a center of the Renaissance, commissioned several massive palaces, and cemented power by intermarrying with the powerful d’Este clan of Ferrara. Much of the city today was built in their image.

Vicenza is known as the adoptive city of Andrea Palladio, who started out as a stonemason and became one of the most influential architects of all time. One of the wealthiest cities in the region, Vicenza is celebrated over the world for its splendid and varied architecture, which shows the evolution of Palladio’s distinctive style. However, the city is more than just elegant porticoes and balustrades: its dynamic exhibitions, bars and restaurants provide a satisfying dose of modern vibrancy.

Though less than an hour from Venice, Padua seems a world away with its medieval marketplaces, Fascist-era facades and student population. Rich in art and architecture, this university town has two particularly outstanding sights. The magnificent Cappella degli Scrovegni, north of the city center, is famous for Giotto’s lyrical frescoes, and forms part of the complex incorporating the Eremitani church and museums. The Basilica di Sant’Antonio is one of the most popular pilgrimage destinations in Italy.

Verona is 11 km from the property, Mantua is 57 km, Vicenza is 67 km, Lake Garda is 84 km, Padua is 97 km, Venice is 130 km, and Treviso is 146 km.

The Property. Nestled in the quiet countryside of Verona, close to Lake Garda, Villa di Giove is set on the sweet hills of Valpolicella, providing the perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most appreciated corners in Northern Italy. Offering a tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking views over the surrounding vineyards, Villa di Giove can accommodate up to twelve guests (plus one extra guest in a sofa bed) featuring six double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread over three floors.

The villa is surrounded by a lush garden where you will find a magnificent swimming pool and a spacious poolside area equipped with parasols and comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a calm atmosphere, the poolside area represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book. The property also features a porch with al fresco dining area and barbecue. Near the poolside area, you will also find a guest bathroom.

Offering a warm atmosphere, the ground floor boasts a generous living room with comfortable sofas with plenty of seating, a bright dining area and a professional kitchen featuring all the amenities you might need during your stay. On the ground floor you will also find a guest bathroom. The first floor boasts a spacious sitting area and four double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (three with shower and one with tub). In one of the bedrooms, you will find a comfortable sofa bed for one extra guest.

The second floor features two double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (one with tub and one with shower). Each room features a comfortable king-size bed and flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some rooms also feature a corner desk. The rooms feature en-suite bathroom with hairdryer, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries. The lower ground floor features a garage that can accommodate up to five cars. The property is fenced and features an entrance gate. Please note that the fireplaces are decorative.

Retention time
