Location and Surrounding Area. Set in the countryside close to Noto and its baroque beauties, Villa Agave offers stylish accommodation nearby the Vendicari Nature Reserve and gorgeous sandy beaches. Nestled amidst lush trees and surrounding nature, guests are sure to enjoy the privacy of this secluded villa. Spend the day at the nearby Vendicari Nature Reserve, where you can spot an array of wildlife including flamingos and storks, head down the coast for stunning sandy beaches, or jump in the car to discover beautiful baroque towns.

The villa is just a stone’s throw away from Noto, a spectacular Baroque city and an architectural paradise with one of the most beautiful historic centers in Sicily. Renowned as the Capital of Baroque and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Noto is perched on a plateau overlooking the Asinaro valley, covered by citrus, olive, and almond trees. In less than thirty minutes by car, you can reach Marzamemi, a fishing village long known for good seafood, its ancient core home to shoals of restaurants, bars, and boutiques.

Offering a serene atmosphere, this villa provides a unique escape for to explore this diverse region which is home to Baroque towns, excellent food, and some of the most beautiful beaches in Sicily. The property is also a few kilometers from Syracuse, which encapsulates Sicily’s timeless beauty more than any other city: ancient Greek ruins rise out of lush citrus orchards, café tables spill onto dazzling Baroque piazzas, and honey-hued medieval side streets lead down to the sparkling blue sea.

In forty minutes by car, you can reach Modica, damaged in the 1963 earthquake and rebuilt in the Sicilian Baroque style: its highlight is the 18th-century Church of San Giorgio, which dominates the upper town. Attractions in the lower town include the Chiesa del Carmine, the Baroque San Pietro, and the Palazzo de Leva. The villa is also one-hour drive from Catania, one of the most picturesque towns in Sicily: its historic center is a UNESCO-listed wonder, where black and white palazzi tower over sweeping Baroque piazzas.

Villa Agave is 86 km from Comiso Airport, 86 km from Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, and 328 km from Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport. Noto is 4 km from the villa, Marzamemi is 21 km, Syracuse is 37 km, Modica is 48 km, Scicli is 54 km, Ragusa and Ragusa Ibla are 61 km, Marina di Ragusa is 79 km, Catania is 91 km, and Caltagirone is 92 km.

The Property. Immersed in the raw nature of the heart of Sicily, Villa Agave is a modern villa with pool providing the ideal setting for the most Sicilian experience. Set in an idyllic rural location close to the baroque town of Noto, this contemporary villa offers enchanting views of the surrounding countryside and the Ionian Sea beyond. Positioned nearby the Vendicari Nature Reserve and gorgeous sandy beaches, and with accommodation all on one level, Villa Agave can sleep five guests in three bedrooms (2 double bedrooms + 1 single room).

Surrounded by nature and set in a panoramic position, the property boasts an exclusive pool and a poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to unwind. The beautiful scenery surrounding the villa can be enjoyed in total relaxation from the well-equipped outdoor area, with its wide patio and terraces. Offering a tranquil retreat, this delightful rural setting is framed by olive trees and Mediterranean flora. Here you can enjoy memorable lazy lunches with breathtaking panoramic views and starlit dinners.

Flooded with light, the villa features a generous open-plan living and dining room with a comfortable sofa and a large dining table. The villa also features a fully-equipped kitchen which opens onto the outdoor patio through a French window. Here you will find a spacious al fresco dining area under the shade of a pergola. The villa can sleep up to five guests in three bright bedrooms opening onto the courtyard: two double bedrooms and one single room. The villa also features two bathrooms with shower (kindly note that the bathrooms are not en-suite). In one of the bathrooms, you will find a handy washing machine.

Retention time
