With wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, this exclusive eleven-bedroom villa is an extremely elegant estate and the perfect location for unforgettable day trips to the most beautiful towns in Tuscany and provides a unique opportunity to admire its splendid landscapes while soaking up the region’s incredibly rich historical and cultural heritage.

Sant’Angelo in Colle is a photogenic, small town situated on top of a hill and offers far-reaching views across the surrounding countryside. It is the very same, almost untouched landscape so beloved of the masters of the Sienese School of painting during the 13th, 14th, and 15th centuries; rolling hillsides, cypress trees, vineyards, clusters of olive groves and magnificent castles. The property boasts one of the oldest vineyards in the area and has been producing its own superb wines since 1580. In the neighbourhood, you will also find other famous vineyards producing some of the world's finest wines: the Chianti Classico, Brunello di Montalcino, Nobile di Montepulciano and Tignanello for example.

The Brunello di Montalcino has been produced in the hills around Montalcino since the early 14th century, partly because Montalcino has the warmest and driest climate in Tuscany. The village of Montalcino, extremely well-known for the production of its red wine, also has a marvellous historical centre perfect for spending a leisurely afternoon or two just roaming around the pretty streets. The villa is a few kilometers from the medieval town of Montepulciano. Standing high atop a hill not far from Siena, the town of Montepulciano boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the wonderful Val d’Orcia.

In just one hour by car, you can easily reach the medieval town of Siena. Its ancient red brick buildings, the scallop-shaped main square Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral Square, dominated by the zebra-striped Duomo, make it an absolute must for anyone traveling to Tuscany. Effectively an open-air museum celebrating the Gothic, Siena boasts secular monuments that have retained both their medieval forms and their exceptional art collections, providing plenty to marvel at.

In less than two hours by car, you can reach San Gimignano, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Italy. From afar, San Gimignano looks like a town from a Renaissance painting: a circle of 13th-century walls enclosing tall, teetering stone towers. Its towers make it instantly recognizable, but the art treasures held within its walls are just as remarkable. Although the town is small, there is enough art, architecture, and fine food to keep you busy for more than one day.

The Property
Located in the heart of Tuscany and surrounded by vineyards, Dimora Montalcino has been transformed from its historical, 16th-century origins into a luxurious country retreat. With all-round views over the Tuscan hills, private gardens and pool, the property is the ideal place to enjoy a holiday in the company of family and friends. This carefully-renovated property can accommodate up to 22 guests in a private apartment with two double bedrooms and nine suites (double bedrooms).

Surrounded by a generous garden, the property boasts a beautifully laid-out, salt-water pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to lie back and soak up the Tuscan sunshine. With a tranquil atmosphere and charming views of the countryside, the garden and the paved poolside area represent idyllic spots for basking in the sun and relax.

There is a beautifully restored barrel cellar that has been converted into a wonderful dining room where guests can be served delicious Tuscan delicacies created from a blend of ancient seasonings, fresh produce, and a twist of personal genius from our chefs. Our dinners follow the changing harvests of the seasons and you are guaranteed to be amazed at the sheer range of wonderful foods and wines that can be enjoyed here.

Elegantly furnished, the property can accommodate up to twenty-two guests in one apartment with two double bedrooms and nine suites (double bedrooms). Each room boasts the finest of furnishings and bed linen and you will find all the comfort and space you might need to relax in total privacy. In keeping with the nature of the property, much of the wooden furniture has been handmade using recycled beams from the original roof structure that dated back to 1500s.

With an elegant atmosphere, the apartment features a well-equipped kitchen with a breakfast table, living room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, and two double bedrooms, each with private bathroom. The apartment also features air conditioning and heating, fireplace and washing machine.

Suite A (x2): 
The property boasts two Suites A. Overlooking the pool or the main villa, the suites are 35 square meters and feature a double bedroom with comfortable king-size bed and a private bathroom. These suites also feature air conditioning and heating.

Suite B (x3): 
The property boasts three Suites B. With charming views of the surrounding Tuscan countryside and the Val d'Orcia, the suites are 30 square meters and feature a double bedroom complete with private bathroom, air conditioning and heating.
