Famous for being the preferred holiday destination of many international celebrities, Forte dei Marmi is just a stone’s throw away from the villa and is the ideal place for those who love high standard services and a vibrant nightlife. With its beautiful beaches, exclusive designer boutiques, and lively atmosphere, Forte dei Marmi attracts tourists from all over the world every year. Before leaving the town, do not forget to take a stroll along the pier, historically used for loading marble extracted from the quarries onto the boats.

In just twenty minutes by car, you can reach Viareggio, the most important city in the Versilia. Start from the Baptistery and head to the 130-meter Camposanto Monumentale overlooking the square.

The property is also a few kilometers from Lucca, also known as “the city of 100 churches”. The Property. Surrounded by greenery, Castello del Monte is a prestigious villa with pool situated on the crest of a hill, just a few kilometers from the sea. Combining historic charm with modern conveniences, the castle has been finely restored while preserving the atmosphere of a traditional Tuscan country residence. With a secluded location, this charming property can accommodate up to six guests and two extra guests featuring two double bedrooms in the main house and one double bedroom in the dépendance.

Surrounded by a lush garden of 1000 square meters, this magnificent property boasts a large heated pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a serene atmosphere, the poolside area represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco. The outdoor area also features generous al fresco lounge area and dining areas in the shade of a pergola.

Main House: On the ground floor of the main house, you will find a generous open-plan area with a modern fully-equipped kitchen and sitting area complete with fireplace and comfortable sofas with plenty of seating. As the evening falls, sit around the fireplace and enjoy a glass of local wine with your fellow guests. On the ground floor you will also find a half bathroom and a laundry room. Flooded with natural light, the main house features two double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower, which are located on the first floor.

Dépendance: The dépendance is located just a few steps from the main house. With accommodation all on one level and offering a calm atmosphere, the dépendance features a third double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. With a contemporary design, the dépendance also features a comfy sitting area and a kitchenette with all the amenities you might need during your stay. Outside, the villa offers a large garden rich in lavender bushes, roses, lemon and orange trees organized on different levels and with several terraces.

Please note that because of the layout of the property, Castello del Monte is not suitable for disabled people and children under the age of ten. Please also that the road to access the villa (which is about 200 meters) is typical of a medieval town and has cobblestones. The property also features a private garage in the main parking area, about 200 meters on foot from the castle. On request, at an extra cost, the villa can accommodate two additional guest in a double sofa bed.
