Location. Villa Alcide is located only 100 m. to the sandy beach of san Felice Circeo and its cleanest waters. This amazing town is right in the middle of the Circeo National Park. The Park is situated along the Tyrrhenian coast in the South of Rome, between Anzio and Terracina, and it extends itself for about 8.500 hectares in the province of Latina. Established in 1934, the Parco del Circeo was born in order to protect not only a single species but also a rich group of typical biomes with a consequent abundance of species. The different environments of the Park can be easily reached by several roads, and visited through by public roads and by roads linking one estate to the other, pedestrian paths, cycling and pedestrian tracks with path signs (in the forest), and some equipped paths. San Felice Circeo has became an important touristic centre, thanks to its suggestive Old Town in the upper part and its residential and commercial area full of shops, lidos and restaurants along the coast. San Felice circeo has a touristic Port, excellent starting point to reach by private boat the Pontine Island (Ponza, Ventotene) Though a young town, San Felice begun to be famous during the Dolce Vita time when many actors and VIPs from Rome bought or rented villas for their summer holiday organizing parties and beginning a new centre of summer gossips! But even more it offers the possibility of visiting historical sites and in particular prehistoric and Roman remains. Worth of note is the remainings of the Neanderthal Man. Main locations surroundings: Priverno Fossanova's Abbey,Ninfa's Gardens, Pontine's Island, Terracina, Gaeta, Sperlonga, Mount Cassino Abbey,Sermoneta,Rome, Naples.
Description. Villa Alcide is immersed in the silence and tranquility of the lower town in a private road with pine trees and oleander bushes (Mediterranean vegetation) and close to the sea. Typical Mediterranean building a plane, white with bougainvillea climbing the front entrance.
The house is situated in a fantastic location, 100 m. from the sea, one minute walk from the sandy beach, 300 m. to Pizzerias and Restaurants, 5 minutes to Bar and a shady playground area for children,15 minutes walk from the port and commercial center complete with everything. The villa is surrounded by a very large garden (2000 sq. m.) treated mainly to lawn with pine trees and palm trees, a paved area in front of the entrance with pine trees and citrus, all protected by high hedges is used as a parking for 2/3 cars. On the lawn running around the area during the summer time are arranged different areas: one with chairs and sundecks with a large umbrella, a barbecue, a table with chairs and a smaller umbrella to read a good book! Parking area within the garden or on the driveway in front of the house.
The construction spread over one floor and is composed of: a large living room, 4 bedrooms, a kitchen and 3 bathrooms.
The villa is owned by a couple of architects so every detail is sought and have the right tones and colours. The main door give access to a long corridor. On the right you have a first area with a kitchen and a small double bedroom with its bathroom (with shower). The kitchen is equipped with all the modern appliances (refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher). On the left of the corridor you can enter in the living room.
The living area consists of an entrance, a large dining room with a table right also for 10 people and a large living room with fireplace and 2 sofa, the living room leads directly to a covered veranda where you can have al fresco dinners.
The corridor leads to the 3 main bedrooms and the two bathrooms: the “blue bedroom”, a double bedroom completed with wardrobe and a bathroom en suite; the “orange room” a double bedroom with a locker room; the “turquoise room” with two twin beds that can fit also as a double. The orange and turquoise bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower.
