Located on the western shore of Lake Como, just a short drive from the center of Como, this magnificent property is the perfect place for a stylish Italian break by the lake that inspired composers, artists, and poets. Villa Fedele is less than thirty minutes from Como and Bellagio, making it the perfect base for exploring the wonders of Lake Como and its region. Located on the Italian-Swiss border, Como overlooks the southwest end of its lake and is surrounded by green hills, resulting in unparalleled scenery.

Shaped like an upside-down Y, the lake is littered with villages, including exquisite Bellagio and Varenna. Where the southern and western shores converge is the lake's main town, Como, an elegant, prosperous Italian city. Among the area's siren calls are extraordinarily sumptuous villas, often graced with paradisiacal gardens. The mountainous terrain means that opportunities for taking bird's-eye views of the lake and its towns are numerous.

The villa is just a stone’s throw from Bellagio. Bellagio is located at the top of the so-called Lariano Triangle. Bellagio represents one of the most famous and elegant towns of Lake Como, and is extremely well-known for its beautiful villas and gardens, mild climate, and naturalistic-environmental characteristics of great charm. Situated in Varenna and surrounded by a spectacular botanical garden, Villa Monastero is one of the most interesting examples of Eclecticism around Lake Como.

Take a boat to Tremezzo, one of the most romantic places on the Lake Como, and visit Villa Carlotta. Built at the close of the 17th century, Villa Carlotta was enriched by valuable works of art, including incredible sculptures by Antonio Canova, still on display inside the villa. But the main attraction is its luxuriant garden by the calm waters of Lake Como, which is divided into two parts, an Italian garden designed in the 18th century and an English one laid out by princess Carlotta herself.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Menaggio, the most important center of the western coast of Lake Como. Thanks to its central position, Menaggio is the ideal starting point for any type of excursion: by boat, you can access the sumptuous villas of the lake, while on foot or by mountain bike you can discover the paths of Parco Val Sanagra. Golf lovers can enjoy an exclusive 18-hole course founded in 1907, and those who prefer sports can rent a kayak while enjoying the outstanding views of the surrounding nature.

The Property. Located on the shores of Lake Como, Villa Fedele provides the perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners in Northern Italy. With a modern atmosphere and minimalist interiors, this 18th-century villa has been carefully renovated to offer a beautiful setting for an Italian getaway with loved ones. Complete with lush gardens and a heated pool, this lakefront villa can sleep up to 12 guests in 7 bedrooms (6 double bedrooms and 1 single room) spread over four floors.

Offering sweeping views of the calm waters of Lake Como and the steep mountains beyond, this villa boasts an exclusive heated pool and a paved poolside area with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to a post-swim sunbathing session. The hilly garden surrounding the villa is dotted with century-old Platanus trees and offers plenty of space to unwind. Near the pool you will find a bathroom with rain shower. The outdoor area is complete with a private dock for two boats, perfect for exploring the wonders of Lake Como.

A short walk across the private gardens leads to a separate building right behind the villa, which offers a private gym. The gym features a FightCamp, two state-of-the-art Pilates machines, a Technogym treadmill, stepper, and bike. Here you will also find mats, pillows, stretch bands, and weights. Two SUP boards are available next to the private outdoor stairway that gives direct lake access to guests. E-MTBs are available at street level, which is the departure and arrival point for E-MTB tours.

A lakeside dining table located on a spacious terrace is ideal for al fresco breakfasts with a view or evening meals as the sun sets behind the mountains on the opposite side of the lake. Guests can also enjoy a private movie night in the elegant 22-seater cinema: it offers heating for year-round use and features a distinctive exposed rock wall made of genuine Moltrasio stone. Villa Fedele is one of the few properties on Lake Como that allows access by foot or boat only, creating an unrivaled atmosphere of peace. 

Finished with modern facilities, the main floor is flooded with natural light and dedicated to communal areas, featuring a generous open-plan living and dining room, and a separate seating room. Both rooms are decorated with modern pieces of art and contemporary furniture, and both feature cozy fireplaces and doors opening onto the lakefront terrace. On the main floor you will also find a fully-equipped kitchen with a large kitchen island, coffee corner, and wine cooler. Here you will also find a guest bathroom.

With breathtaking lake views from every window, the interior space has been stylishly decorated, carefully furnished, and includes all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. From the main floor, an original 18th-century staircase and an elevator lead up to the upper floors, home to the bedrooms. Enhanced by a soft and neutral color palette, the upper floor (second level) has three double bedrooms with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom: two bathrooms have a walk-in rain shower and one bathroom has a large bathtub.

The third floor has two double bedrooms with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. On the third floor, in addition to the bedrooms, you will find a bright library and reading room, and an extra bathroom with both shower and tub. On the top floor (fourth level), you will find a generous suite with a living area with kitchenette, a double bedroom with king-size bed, and a single room. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with shower located on the same floor. Please note that even though the bedrooms of the villa can sleep up to 13 guests, the maximum occupancy is 12 guests.
