Location and Surrounding Area. Overlooking the calm waters of Lake Como and just a short drive from the center of Como, Villa Blevio is the perfect place for a stylish Italian break by the lake that inspired composers, artists, and poets. The villa is located in Blevio, on the eastern shore of Lake Como, enveloped by the towns of Como and Torno. The town of Blevio is made up of seven hamlets spread across the slopes of Monte Boletto to the shores of Lake Como. On the opposite shore the town mirrors itself in the towns Cernobbio and Moltrasio.

Set on the Italian-Swiss border, Como overlooks the southwest end of the lake and is surrounded by green hills, resulting in unparalleled, natural scenery. Como is home to some of the best attractions in Lombardy, and it is worth a visit even for a stroll through the streets of the center. Here you can visit beautiful squares with Romanesque or Gothic style churches, visit the city’s historic buildings, enjoy the view of the city from above from breathtaking vantage points, go shopping and much more.

Cernobbio is a small city located northwest of Como, nestled between Mount Bisbino and the calm waters of Lake Como. Cernobbio boasts a quaint old town that culminates in a wide lakefront promenade that can be reached in just 15 minutes by boat from Como, and where there are bars, restaurants and even a lido. Cernobbio is also home to some of Lake Como’s most famous villas, including Villa d’Este. In addition, it is an excellent starting point to take refuge in nature.

Bellagio is a small jewel located on the promontory that separates the two southern branches of the lake, those culminating in the cities of Como and Lecco. Bellagio is one of the most glamorous destinations in Lombardy. In fact, it is home to a colorful historic center, beautiful gardens, and charming neighborhoods. In addition, its central position makes it perfect for visiting beautiful surrounding towns such as Varenna, Tremezzina or Menaggio, which you can easily reach by boat!

Argegno is a quaint village overlooking Lake Como in the area of greatest depth. Located just 20 km from Como, Argegno is crossed by the Telo stream that divides the historic town center into two parts connected by an ancient bridge that represents its distinguishing feature. In Argegno there will be no shortage of opportunities to visit fascinating historic churches and places in nature with breathtaking views of Lake Como. If you visit Argegno, you should definitely take the cable car to Pigra.

A brand-new rental location on Lake Como, the villa offers a blend of Italian sophistication, historical art, and modern elegance. Situated in Blevio, Villa Blevio can sleep: 4 guests in Wing A (2 double bedrooms), 4+4 guests in Wing B (2 double bedrooms + 2 double sofa beds), plus 2 additional guests in the Overwater Loft (1 double bedroom; extra, on request)

Set in a beautifully maintained park, Villa Blevio boasts a well-kept garden with secular trees and bushes. Every effort has been taken to honor the cultural legacy of the era, much like with the villa itself. The spacious terrace, which overlooks the pool, is perfect for al fresco dining. The villa's gardens provide the opportunity to enjoy a carefree Lake Como vacation on a whole new level, whether you choose to unwind by the pool and read in the shady grounds, eat something, or simply take in the panoramic views.

Steeped in centuries of history, Villa Blevio dates back to the 18th century and became the primary residence of a Baron after his marriage to a Countess at the end of the 19th century. After being used as a private family property until 1981, the villa was purchased in 1995 by the current owner who immediately set out to complete the enormous task of restoring the villa to its former glory, turning it into the opulent and exclusive venue that it is today.

The villa was meticulously restored using original materials and traditional methods whenever possible. The result is an eclectic yet harmonious mix of authentic and original artifacts combined with personal flair, including a unique Bluthner piano from 1865 that is in the fireplace hall. You may expect silks, linens, velvets, and hand-woven rugs on the original terracotta tiled flooring since fabrics have been carefully chosen to reflect the sophistication of the time.

The magnificent collection of Murano chandeliers from the early 1900s deserves special mention. Enjoy the opulent main rooms starting with the original 18th century color palette of muted yellows and mild greens to complement ornately gilded ceilings. A haven of peace and tranquility, bedrooms have been decorated with a more calming, soothing color palette of neutral tones. Charming views of the lake and mountains from every window provide wonderful, naturally light, airy spaces throughout.

Villa Blevio can accommodate: 4 guests in Wing A (2 double bedrooms), 4+4 guests in Wing B (2 double bedrooms + 2 double sofa beds), plus 2 additional guests in the Overwater Loft (1 double bedroom; extra, on request).

Wing A (2 Double Bedrooms): On the ground floor of Wing A, you will find the entrance hall and a generous living room complete with two comfortable sofas, an armchair, and a 55-inch TV. On the same floor you will also find a laundry room (staff use only). The first floor features a spacious open-plan living and dining room complete with comfortable sofas, armchairs, and a dining table that can seat up to six guests. On this floor you will also find a fully-equipped kitchen. However, guests are kindly asked to use the kitchen of Wing B for safety reasons, as it features an induction hob. On the second floor, you will find two double bedrooms, both with private bathroom (one with shower and one with bathtub).

Wing B (2 Double Bedrooms + 2 Double Sofa Beds): On the ground floor of Wing B, in addition to the entrance, there is a bathroom with shower, a laundry room and a generous living room with a window that opens onto the park. In the living room you will find a comfortable double sofa bed. On the first floor are the dining room and the kitchen complete with a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, coffee machine, kettle, and all the accessories our guests may want. Guests are kindly asked to use the kitchen of Wing B for safety reasons, as it features an induction hob.

On the second floor of Wing B there is the master bedroom (double bedroom) with en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub, and a cozy room with a bed for a child up to ten years old. On the third floor, you will find a small terrace where you can have wonderful breakfasts with a breathtaking 180-degree view of Lake Como, a double bedroom with private bathroom, and a living room with a double sofa bed.

Overwater Loft (1 Double Bedroom; On Request): Blessed by its waterfront location, the overwater loft is independent from the main villa. Characterized by original stone walls and whitewashed wooden beams, the loft features a king-size round bed, a large table, a bathroom with shower, an overwater terrace, a cozy garden, and a berth directly below the structure from which it is possible to directly access the lake. In the overwater loft, you will also find a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a microwave, an induction hob, a kettle, a coffee machine, and a flat-screen TV. A six-meter fully-retractable glass window allows you to enjoy the sights and sounds of Como whatever the time of day or night.
