The Palazzo is disposed on three floors and can host up to 17 guests, offering six exclusive and separate living accommodations with en-suite bathrooms. This elegant property is not only ideally located to explore Lake Como’s many charms, but also the perfect lakeside retreat for those who want to experience the “dolce far niente”. Located just few minutes from the Palazzo’s historic arch, down a cobbled pathway along the shore, the Lakeside Sun Terrace represents the ideal place to enjoy wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco. This exceptional al fresco living room features comfortable loungers and an all-weather sofa where guests are invited to enjoy the outstanding view of Lake Como while the sun goes down. An internal staircase leads to a small pebble beach where guests can wade in the cool waters and go for an invigorating swim.
With its stone arch entrance and ancient wishing well, the courtyard represents the ideal place to linger over lazy morning coffees while appreciating the panoramic view over the lake. Guests can enjoy breakfast in the charming dining room Sala Giunione before its magnificent Renaissance-era fresco and monumental marble fireplace, and take part in Italy’s sacred late-afternoon ritual known as “aperitivo” in the bar inside Sala Barbarossa, indulging in signature cocktails under the 18th-century frescoes. The Palazzo also boasts a stone-clad cellar, La Cantina, where guests can intimately spend time together while tasting traditional Italian food and wine.
Accessed by the Palazzo’s sweeping staircase, the first-floor double bedroom Il Fuoco features an elegant décor that mixes handpicked antique furnishings with modern comforts: the retro bed is equipped with high-comfort mattresses and the vintage side table elegantly hides a high-tech sound system, while the large en-suite bathroom offers a Jacuzzi shower with body jets. On the same floor, you will also find the spacious La Vista junior suite, with its period furnishings, high ceiling frescoes and enchanting views. The custom light fixtures, locally commissioned artwork and luxury Italian damask on the bed and windows are complemented by the natural light flooding in through the windows, while its spacious en-suite bathroom features a multi-jet shower.
The first floor also houses the two-bedroom apartment (one double bedroom, one twin room and a large bathroom with bath and shower) L’Isola Comacina, which overlooks the namesake island on the far side on Lake Como. The antique furnishings, cotto Lombardo floors and marble fireplace give this apartment its characteristic period charm. The covered terrace is perfect for making lasting memories, and the fully-equipped kitchen is the ideal place for aspiring chefs. Located on the second floor, the deluxe double room San Primo boasts plenty of natural light and charming views over its namesake mountain. With light blue walls and olive green accents, the color palette evokes Lake Como’s natural beauty, while its furnishings provide the comforts of a luxury home, from the high-comfort king bed to the large shower room.
On the same floor, you will also find the one-bedroom apartment La Torre, whose views extend across the tree-filled park to the lake. The open-plan living, dining and kitchen area is furnished in contemporary style, while the high ceilings add old-world charm. The double bedroom includes a large bathroom with a multi-jet shower.
