La Casa sul Lago is a wonderful property located in Vassena a beautiful hamlet on the shores of Lake Como just a short drive from Bellagio. From the villa you can take in the most amazing Lake views as the property is located right on the Lake shores and surrounded by the peace and total seclusion that the private garden area has to offer. This used to be the holiday home of the owners who spent many a happy holiday and enjoyed numerous family reunions during the summer on the Lake.

The property is composed of two prestigious luxury villas, located in a spectacular position, directly on the waterfront of the famous Lake Como, and set in a beautiful “Italian style” garden of 2000 square meters (21.500 sq. ft.) with secular trees and their own private beach and private harbour.With its perfect location, close to the famous town of Bellagio, this property offers a central point for touring Northern Italy, Como, Cernobbio, Milan as well as Switzerland. Special features for both villas include: one indoor parking place inside the garage and three parking places inside the gate of the property, security system, premium 10 camera cctv system, two terraces with solarium on the lake, two piers, kitchens with innovative appliances, dishwashers, washers, driers, a fun outdoor playground for children with a kid’s house and castle, mountain bikes, windsurfer, canoes, fishing equipment, gazebo complete with deckchairs and a Tuscan stone table make your outdoor area a true heaven!

Main Villa. The main villa dates back to the beginning of the century, it is a large Italian stone villa (400 sq. m. / 4300 sq. ft.), completely restored and renovated in 2005, with special care and attention to the latest technology (cable tv, internet access, cd, dvd, ccv system), still maintaining the authentic atmosphere and appeal that only Lake Como can offer!

The villa is divided on 2 floors. On the ground floor you will find a large sitting room that overlooks the lush garden and has direct access to the lake terrace, where there is a large table perfect for traditional outdoor Italian dinners. If you love cooking, you will certainly enjoy the kitchen area, which is particularly large and well equipped, complete with an original ancient stone fireplace that is now only a decorative element. The kitchen has an adjoining dining area, and an outdoor portico with marble table and stone terrace. On this same floor there is also one double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower and an additional half bathroom.

On the lower level there are two large rooms with wooden tables for entertaining friends and various storage rooms.

On the first floor you will find the rest of the bedrooms. The villa features one master double bedroom, two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms with bathtub.

Smaller Villa. This luxury, brand new villa (completed in May 2011) offers the best you can possibly ask for, specifically designed by a famous Italian architect, to enhance the stunning lake views, the project is a combination of authentic and modern architecture, with glass balconies and “floor to ceiling” windows, that will allow you to take the most from your beautiful views of the lake and the mountains on the opposite shore! This property (150 sq m/1700 sq.ft.) features all the most recent technological innovations, automatic entrance door, plasma tv with satellite, internet access, cd, dvd, ccvv system etc.

The villa is furnished with the very best Italian designer brands such as b&b, flou, flexform, cassina and poliform! On the ground floor you have the sitting area with sofa, Satellite TV and fully equipped kitchen corner that opens onto a terrace with breathtaking Lake views, furnished with table and chairs. On the first floor you have one master double bedroom with terrace overlooking the Lake and ensuite bathroom with shower, one twin bedroom always with Lake views and one bathroom with shower.

How did you enjoy your ISV experience; actual accommodations, amenities and services

Buongiorno Daniela, we had a really lovely time in the Lake Como area. You and Anna were very helpful and responsive. The villa felt like a home away from home in majestic surroundings. The only thing I would say is we did not fully appreciate how beautiful the villa and its surroundings were until we got there. The brochure/ online pictures didn't do justice to it. So, if there is any area to improve, that would be it.

Retention time
