Forte dei Marmi, born around a fort built in 1788 by Leopold I of Tuscany, it has always been one of the most famous destination in the world for holidays. Since the end of 1700 nobles from all over Europe, diplomats, businessmen, artists and famous people have rented or built beautiful villas hidden and protected by the green of the pine forest, choosing its fine sands to spend their holiday destination. In addition to the beauty of its beaches, gardens and its historic center, Forte dei Marmi is also famous for its elegance and sophistication, begun very famous all over the world with the Dolce Vita lifestyle of '60ies. Its bars, restaurants and fashion boutiques attract tourists from all the world, thanks also to the nearby cities of Florence, Pisa, Arezzo. But what makes Forte dei Marmi unique is its relaxing atmosphere, given by the wide open spaces, the pinewoods, bike rides along the avenues, the elegant beaches, the silences and the relaxing moments to meet friends for a drink after a quiet day at the sun. Forte dei Marmi, for its festivals, its markets, cultural events and the nightlife, is also famous for its hinterland, so rich in history, culture and ancient traditions full of many amazing places to visit as: Pietrasanta, Camaiore, Viareggio.
VILLA MICHELANGELO actually belongs to this reality. It is located in an exclusive area of Forte dei Marmi, only 400 meters away from the beach and a little further from the center of Forte dei Marmi. The Villa is an impressive property as you'll see as soon you'll have access from outside: a beautiful manicured garden surrounds the house, enriched with different kind of plants, olive trees as well as colorful flowers.
Before entering the doorways you'll find a patio that runs all around the house. A side is equipped with sofa chairs ideal for al fresco drink.
The villa consist of three floors.
On the ground floor there is: a large living room with several sofas, armchairs, a large tv sat and a dining area. All the room is very well lit thanks to the bright colours of its fabrics. There is also the kitchen, modern and pretty, decorated with cheerful pastel colors. The kitchen is provided by fridge / freezer, dishwasher, oven. A powder room for guests with a shower-room.
The second floor can be reached through an impressive marble flight of steps. A corridor leads to a first twin bedroom with bathroom / shower - 2 double bedrooms with bathroom / tub / shower, one twin bedroom with ensuite shower. Each room has a TV.
The bathrooms are in fine marble each in a different colour. The decor of each room is modern, cheerful, ideal for a beach house.
In the basement we'll find a large open space with tv corner, a large dining area with a long table fit for 14/16 people, a bathroom and laundry room. 2 further double bedrooms with a large bath is available on request.
