Located near the lively town of Villammare and featuring a panoramic terrace with spectacular sea views, this five-bedroom villa is the perfect place for those who seek complete relaxation on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. The Cilento stretch of coastline boasts a string of sun-bleached towns, among them popular Agropoli, gleaming white Palinuro, charming Castellabate and the evocative ruined temples of Paestum.

The small village of Villammare came into being, so to speak, at the beginning of the 20th century, when rich families from the neighboring hillside villages settled round the few fishermen’s homes of the ancient fishermen’s stronghold. Today small fishermen’s homes alternate with the palazzi of rich noblemen along the promenade. The heart of active village life beats at the appealing harbor promenade with its numerous bars and shops. The variety of restaurants ranges from typical pizzerias to noble trattorias.

The Cilento can even afford to have a slight air of superiority when it comes to its beaches: a combination of secluded coves and long stretches of golden sand with fewer overpriced ice creams and sunbeds. Yet Campania's southern bookend is about more than its waterside appeal. It is here that you will find the ancient Greek temples of Paestum and a large coastal tract of the Parco Nazionale del Cilento, Vallo di Diano e Alburni, also a Unesco World Heritage site.

Among the main beaches is that of Palinuro. The town’s main beach stretches for around 4 km north of the center. There is another more sheltered curve of sand abutting Palinuro’s postcard-pretty harbor in the south, replete with colorful fishing boats, several bars and a rocky headland standing sentinel. You can hire kayaks and arrange boat trips here. In Castellabate, Santa Maria’s golden sandy beach stretches for around 4 km, which equals plenty of towel space on the sand, even in midsummer.

In Castellabate, San Marco’s Blue Flag beach is the natural continuation to the south. Here you will find the esteemed Spiaggia del Pozzillo, populated with several lidi (beach establishments renting loungers and umbrellas). Another Cilento stunner, Acciaroli’s main beach has sand, space, a Blue Flag rating and easy access to the historic town at its southern end. Water and sand are kept ruthlessly clean. If you could not hack the Amalfi’s rocky, crowded beaches, this will be a gulp of fresh air.

The villa is just 700 m from Santa Maria Le Piane sandy beach. The beaches of Maratea and Acquafredda are about 16 km from the villa.

With spectacular views over the turquoise sea, Villa Punta Infreschi can accommodate ten guests in five double bedrooms (plus four kids in two double sofa beds) spread over three independent floors.

Offering a peaceful atmosphere, this exclusive villa boasts an exceptional swimming pool and a generous paved poolside area with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind while enjoying the charming panorama.The villa also features a generous al fresco lounge and dining area in the shade of a large pergola overlooking the sea. Overlooking the coast of Cilento and Maratea, the villa is perched on the highest point of the lively town of Villammare. Flooded with light, the ground floor boasts a generous living and dining room, open fireplace, a library and study area, and large French doors opening onto the terrace. On the ground floor you will also find a well-equipped kitchen with a large dining table and French doors opening onto to the outdoor dining area complete with summer kitchen, barbecue and wood-fired pizza oven.

Surrounded by a lush enclosed garden, Villa Punta Infreschi is the perfect accommodation for families with children. The villa can sleep up to ten guests in five double bedrooms and four kids in two double sofa beds. On the ground floor you will find three double bedrooms: a double bedroom with queen-size bed and access to the outdoor terrace; a double bedroom with standard double bed; and a double bedroom with queen-size bed (or twin beds). The ground floor also features two bathrooms with shower.

The first floor can be accessed from an external staircase. This floor boasts a generous terrace with a dining table and a sunbathing area. On the first floor you will find an open-plan living and dining area with kitchen, a dining table, and French doors opening onto a generous terrace with dining table. On the first floor you will also find a double bedroom with queen-size bed and a bathroom with shower. In the living area you will find a double sofa bed for two children. The apartment is totally independent.

The second floor can be accessed from an external staircase. On the second floor you will find an open-plan living and dining area complete with kitchen, a dining table for four people, and French doors opening onto a balcony with charming sea views. On the second floor you will also find a double bedroom with a queen-size bed, large windows with views of the pool and the sea, and a bathroom with shower. In the living area you will find a double sofa bed for two children.
