Location and Surrounding Area
Located on Capri, the most beautiful island in the bay of Naples, this exclusive four-bedroom villa is ideally situated to offer tranquility to its guests, providing a matchless seaside retreat in Southern Italy. A popular destination since the 19th century, Capri is notable for its residences, gardens and Roman ruins. With its whitewashed buildings and car-free streets, Capri exudes a cinematic air. Steep cliffs rise majestically from an impossibly blue sea, elegant villas drip with wisteria and even the trees seem to be carefully manicured.

The villa is just a stone’s throw from Villa San Michele. The former home of Swedish doctor, psychiatrist and animal-rights advocate Axel Munthe, Villa San Michele should be included on every visitor’s itinerary. Built on the site of the ruins of a Roman villa, the gardens make a charming setting for a tranquil stroll, with pathways flanked by immaculate flowerbeds. If you are here between June and August, you may be able to catch one of the classical concerts that take place in the gardens.

Capri’s most famous attraction is the Grotta Azzurra, an unusual sea cave illuminated by an otherworldly blue light. The easiest way to visit is to take a boat tour from Marina Grande, which is just a few kilometers from the villa. Beautiful though it is, the Grotta is extremely popular during summer. Sunlight enters through a small underwater aperture and is refracted through the water. This, combined with the reflection of the light off the white sandy seafloor, produces the vivid blue effect to which the cave owes its name.

Capri’s best beach is at Marina Grande, where you will find a little sand among the pebbles. Unsurprisingly, it is perennially popular with families. From here, small boats will ferry you over to the popular swimming spot, Bagni di Tiberio. The villa is also a few kilometers from Villa Jovis. Villa Jovis was the largest and most sumptuous of twelve Roman villas commissioned by Roman Emperor Tiberius on the island of Capri, and his main island residence.

This vast complex, now reduced to ruins, famously pandered to the emperor’s supposedly debauched tastes, and included imperial quarters and extensive bathing areas set in dense gardens and woodland. It is located a 45-minute walk east of Capri Town along Via Tiberio. Beside the ticket office is the 330-meter-high Salto di Tiberio, a sheer cliff from where, as the story goes, Tiberius had out-of-favor subjects hurled into the sea. True or not, the stunning views are real.

Villa Caprese is 53 km from Naples Capodichino International Airport and 281 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. Villa San Michele is 2 km, the Grotta Azzurra is 3 km, Monte Solaro Chair Lift is 3 km, Marina Grande is 5 km, the famous Piazzetta di Capri is 5 km, Villa Jovis is 6 km, Villa Lysis is 7 km, and Bagni di Tiberio is 7 km.

Offering a peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views over the sea, the villa boasts an exclusive pool and a generous poolside area equipped with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind while enjoying the panorama.

Designed to blend contemporary style with more than a touch of sea-house romance, the pool level boasts three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower and direct access to the poolside area. On the upper level you will find a spacious open-plan living and dining area, which opens onto the terrace, and a fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay. Stylish décor is present throughout, with large windows that welcome in its beautiful surrounding.

Flooded with natural light, the upper level features a double bedroom (which, on request, can be converted into a twin room) and a private bathroom with shower, just outside the room. In the bright open-plan living and dining area on the same floor, you will find two comfortable double sofa beds which, on request, can accommodate four additional guests. White-walled, indoors and outdoors, the villa is naturally cooled by high vaulted ceilings and comfortably furnished with stylish simplicity.

The outdoor space is just as stunning, where al fresco meals can be enjoyed in the shaded dining area. On the terrace on the upper level, you will indeed find a generous al fresco dining area with large table and a lounge area for relaxing and socializing while enjoying the sunset. A series of stone steps lead down through the grounds to the swimming pool on the lower level, which takes pride of place out on the chic terrace with luxurious sun loungers for poolside snoozing.

Retention time
