Stella apartment is in a great location and the building itself is on an upmarket, residential street away from the hustle and bustle but close to all the amenities such as excellent restaurants and bars, clothes shopping, delicious patisserie, a fascinating street market and pizzerias. There is a bus stop just across the road and the nearest metro station is just a few minutes walk away.
Rome is the city dripping with history; from the wonders of Michelangelo's artwork in the Sistine Chapel to the Colosseum and Imperial Forum, there is so much to see and do. The city was relatively undamaged during the Second World war and as such, the centre remains essentially renaissance and baroque in character. It is a marvellous 15 minute walk from the apartment to the famous Piazza Navona and the quintessential Campo de' Fiori with its statue of the philosopher and mathematician Giordano Bruno in the centre. The nearby Pantheon is perhaps one of Ancient Rome's best preserved buildings and the dome remains today, even after 2000 years, the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome.
A ten minute hop on the metro near Stella Apartment and you're at the glamorous Spanish Steps and designer shops of the Via del Corso. An walk at dusk along the banks of the River Tiber and through the cobbled streets of Trastevere is a must for every visitor.
Stella Apartment is ideal for medium-sized groups or families that would like to stay in Rome and live life as the Romans do.
Rome is served by the international airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino and there are regular bus and train services to the centre.
