From here, guests can also enjoy boat connections to explore the central part of the lake, discovering hidden coves and breathtaking lakeside panoramas along the way.

Heading towards the centre of Lake Como, guests can discover the renowned villages of Tremezzina, Menaggio, Bellagio and Varenna, each offering its own unique charm. Tremezzina is home to the magnificent Villa Carlotta, surrounded by beautiful botanical gardens, while Bellagio, known as the “Pearl of Lake Como”, enchants visitors with its elegant waterfront, historic villas and panoramic viewpoints. The Property
La Venere di Como is an elegant villa, originally built in 1911 by a wealthy Milanese industrial family, offering a truly exclusive retreat on the western shore of Lake Como. Set in a sunny, elevated position, the villa boasts breathtaking panoramic views stretching from the headland of Bellagio to the northern Pre-Alps and as far south as Nesso. Just a 20-minute walk from the centre of Argegno, La Venere di Como accommodates up to 11 guests across 6 bedrooms (5 double/twin bedrooms and 1 single room).

Set within a beautifully landscaped 3,000 sqm garden, the villa is surrounded by mature trees, colourful flowers, tropical plants and citrus trees. Meticulously maintained lawns and secluded seating areas, shaded by mature trees and flower-covered gazebos, provide the perfect setting to relax and enjoy the views of Lake Como. The garden also features a heated saltwater infinity pool (16 x 7 m) with a spectacular lake view, surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with an outdoor shower, loungers and seating areas.

A charming period gazebo, covered with a copper roof, houses a wrought-iron and terracotta table dating back to the early 20th century, as well as a fully equipped outdoor kitchen with barbecue. The entrance avenue, framed by tall palms, white azaleas and jasmine-covered arches, adds a romantic touch to the property, particularly when the flowers are in bloom. A historic pedestrian path of Roman origin leads directly from the villa to Argegno and the lake, further enhancing the unique character of the surroundings.

The villa was built in 1911 in the elegant Art Nouveau style and enjoys a privileged position directly overlooking Lake Como, with 180-degree views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Its south-east orientation ensures long hours of sunshine from sunrise until late afternoon, while the gentle breezes from the surrounding hills keep the atmosphere cool. The villa was fully restored in 2026, carefully preserving its original features, including stone and terracotta floors, doors, wrought-iron details and decorative elements.

The ground floor features a living room overlooking the garden and Lake Como. The original greenhouse has been transformed into a spacious TV room with a 100-inch screen, a dedicated sound system, games and comfortable seating. The dining room accommodates up to 12 guests, while a library with period furnishings and direct garden access, together with two guest bathrooms, completes the living area. The kitchen is equipped with a wood-fired pizza oven, a refrigerated wine cellar and a second fridge for drinks.

The ground floor also features a double bedroom with a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, private sitting area and small terrace. On the first floor, you will find four spacious suites, each with a king-size bed, a comfortable sitting and study area, flat-screen TV with Netflix and a private balcony, some offering magnificent lake views. In two suites, the king-size beds can be converted into twin beds. Each suite has an en-suite bathroom with a hydromassage shower.

On the top floor, the tower houses a single room with en-suite bathroom, as well as a small study area with a printer. All rooms are equipped with heating, air conditioning and Wi-Fi, while a lift connects the garage with the three floors of the property. The underground garage can accommodate up to six cars. Housed in the villa’s original wine cellar, the spa retains the exposed stonework of the historic structure. It features a small fitness area, massage room, sensory shower, traditional cold plunge and spacious Turkish bath.
