Nestled in the picturesque Itria Valley, Masseria Ottava is a captivating 19th-century fortified farmhouse offering a serene sanctuary where history and nature entwine. Surrounded by vast groves of ancient olive trees, this elegant retreat is in Montalbano di Fasano and lies just minutes from the Adriatic coast. Masseria Ottava accommodates up to 28 guests across 14 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, plus an additional 11 guests in 6 sofa beds (4 double sofa beds and 3 single sofa beds).

Spanning an impressive 3 by 25-metre Olympic-sized expanse, the swimming pool offers ample space for invigorating swims and refreshing dips. As you bask in the tranquil ambience of our poolside oasis, recline on comfortable sunbeds thoughtfully arranged to provide the utmost comfort and convenience. The pristine white and beige exterior of the Masseria reflects the soft, earthy colours of the surrounding countryside, creating a harmonious blend with nature. Expansive terraces, each designed in calming neutral tones, invite guests to relax and soak in the tranquillity of the surroundings. Among the accommodations are three suites with private terraces and outdoor Jacuzzis, a distinctive Tower Suite offering stunning sea views, and a suite featuring an indoor Jacuzzi for ultimate indulgence.

Inside, the interiors are a study in understated elegance, with a soothing palette of soft greys and delicate blues that evoke calm and sophistication throughout the space. Accommodation at Masseria Ottava is thoughtfully distributed across two levels, offering a total of 14 elegant rooms and suites designed to suit a variety of guest needs, including guests with reduced mobility, while preserving privacy and comfort throughout the estate.

On the ground floor, guests will find spacious and inviting suites and rooms, many of which open directly onto the gardens. There are three Suites with private outdoor Jacuzzi, each featuring a double bedroom and a double sofa bed, ideal for up to four guests (2+2). These suites provide direct access to the outdoors. Also on the ground floor is a Junior Suite with indoor Jacuzzi, offering a romantic atmosphere with a four-poster double bed and a double sofa bed, accommodating up to four guests (2+2).

One Junior Suite with accessible bathroom is designed with inclusivity in mind: it features a double bed, a single sofa bed for a third guest (2+1), and a spacious bathroom equipped with both a tub and a walk-in shower, specifically adapted for guests with reduced mobility. Completing the ground floor layout are three elegant Double Deluxe Rooms, each with a double bed and a private bathroom with shower, offering a cosy and stylish retreat for two guests.

On the first floor, the Deluxe Suite features a double bed and a convertible armchair bed for a third guest (2+1). This suite includes two separate bathrooms with showers and distinct areas separated by doors, ensuring extra privacy. A Small Triple Room offers a double bed and a single sofa bed, ideal for up to three guests (2+1). There are also three Small Double Rooms, each with a double bed for two guests. Finally, the first floor includes a Double Deluxe Room, with a double bed and en-suite bathroom for two guests.

The communal areas are varied, featuring both green spaces and stone-paved zones, all equipped with multiple relaxation corners including sofas, armchairs, and small tables. Guests also have free access to yoga mats and bricks available on-site. These shared spaces surround the masseria, which is located at the heart of the property. In the pool area, in addition to the various lounge spots, there are multiple sun loungers, as well as a dining area near the bar, set up with tables and chairs for lunch or dinner.

On the ground floor, near the reception area, you will find two guest bathrooms (each with a door, a sink, and a toilet), one of which is wheelchair accessible. In the pool area, guests will also find two more spacious guest bathrooms, each with a separate entrance and equipped with a sink and toilet. While these do not include a lobby or disabled access, they offer plenty of space. A unique feature in the pool area is a shared outdoor shower nestled within an ancient olive tree.
