The vineyards in this picturesque part of Tuscany produce the grapes used in the renowned Chianti and Chianti Classico, world-famous red wines. The Chianti region is a landscape where you will encounter historic olive groves, honey-coloured stone farmhouses, dense forests, charming Romanesque churches, Renaissance villas, and imposing stone castles built in the Middle Ages by Florentine and Sienese warlords. Chianti’s northern area lies in the province of Florence and is a popular day trip from that city.

In forty minutes by car, you can reach the walled town of San Gimignano, one of Italy’s best-preserved medieval villages. As you crest the nearby hills, the fourteen towers of the town rise like a medieval Manhattan. Immersed in a lush garden, this exclusive villa is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside in complete privacy. With two pools, Vigna Allegra can accommodate up to 19 guests in 10 bedrooms (9 double bedrooms and 1 single room) with en-suite bathrooms.

Its unspoiled location between Florence and Siena makes this splendid villa the perfect choice for those wishing to explore Tuscany and all that it has to offer. Surrounded by a beautiful garden, the villa boasts a recently renovated outdoor pool and a generous poolside area with comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to relax. Complete with a cocktail bar and a kitchen with a barbecue, the outdoor space represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation.

The villa can accommodate up to nineteen guests in ten bedrooms spread over three floors: nine double bedrooms and one single room. On the ground floor, you will find a double bedroom with a king-size bed, a living room, a walk-in wardrobe, and an en-suite bathroom with an accessible shower. On the upper floor, there are seven bedrooms: six double bedrooms and one single room, all with en-suite bathrooms with showers. All bedrooms come complete with a TV, air conditioning, and en-suite facilities. On request, one of the double bedrooms on this floor can be converted into a twin room.

On the second and top floors, which have independent access from the outside, you will find two double bedrooms with king-size beds (which can be converted into twin rooms on request) and en-suite bathrooms with showers. These two bedrooms share a living room with a comfortable sofa. The villa features two kitchens, both located on the ground floor: one is fully equipped and available for guests to use, while the other is professional and reserved for the staff.

This carefully restored property retains its traditional charm while offering modern comforts and amenities, including a luxurious spa with a heated indoor-outdoor pool, a sauna, and a hammam for ultimate relaxation. Just outside the villa, you will find a small gym that includes a treadmill, an exercise bike, Pilates equipment, yoga mats, weights of different sizes, and a boxing bag. Inside the gym, there is a laundry room and a room for staff (available on request). Outside the gym, you will find a bocce court.
