The Property
Nestled on the shores of Lake Como in the village of Ossuccio, Villa Isoletta is a refined lakeside retreat offering tranquillity, elegance, and uninterrupted views over the iconic Comacina Island. The interiors are infused with natural light, sophisticated design, and luxurious materials, creating a soothing and contemporary ambience ideal for a restorative stay. Recently renovated, the villa accommodates up to 10 guests in five double bedrooms, three located within the main villa and two housed in independent suites.
Set within a lush garden, the villa’s outdoor spaces are designed for lakeside living. A private path leads through the garden to the lake, where guests enjoy direct access to a private pier. The saltwater pool, positioned just above the shoreline, is lit at night and bordered by a furnished sun deck. Near the pool, there is also a bathroom with shower. A small beach lies to the side of the property, while a pedestrian gate at the back of the garden leads to the village centre via a scenic path and stairway.
Inside, the villa is defined by its harmonious blend of textures and natural elements. Full-height windows frame breathtaking views over the lake and island, while soft linen-coloured fabrics, natural wood furnishings and elegant kerlite bathroom finishes create a serene and inviting atmosphere. Courtesy lights beneath the bedside tables and bathroom drawers add a discreet touch of comfort, and all bedrooms include safes, with the two newest suites also offering minibars.
The open-plan ground floor includes a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining area and a living area with direct access to a furnished veranda. There is also a guest bathroom. The main house features three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the first floor, while two more suites are in a newly converted part of the former portico, each with lake-facing windows and en-suite shower rooms. A luggage storage area has been added nearby. Guests also have access to a laundry room and two parking spaces.
For additional cars, just across the road there is a paid parking area available. Just 200 metres from the villa, there is a boat rental offering small 40-horsepower boats that can be driven without a licence. For a more leisurely experience, boat hire with a skipper is also available in Ossuccio, allowing you to relax and take in the stunning surroundings while someone else takes the helm. Nearby, you will find the charming restaurant La Tirlindana, renowned for its delicious local cuisine and inviting atmosphere.
