Monsummano Terme, mainly renowned for its natural thermal grottos, and Montecatini Terme, one of the most important thermal centers in Europe, are just a stone’s throw away from the villa. Golf lovers can enjoy a 18-hole course in the countryside at the La Pievaccia Golf Club, just two km from the property, while those who prefer to relax can choose the beauty and wellness treatments of the Grotta Giusti Spa.

In less than one hour by car, you can easily reach Pisa, exceptionally well-known for its famous Leaning Bell Tower. After having climbed all the steps up to the top of the tower to admire the breathtaking view of the town, continue your visit to other monuments in the marvellous Piazza dei Miracoli, such as the Cathedral, the Baptistery and the Monumental Graveyard. With its pedestrian areas and ancient walls crowned with trees, Lucca represents the perfect place for a walk or a bike ride, and it is extremely easy to reach by car and by train from both Pisa and Florence. Known as “the city of 100 churches”, its top attractions include the beautiful Cathedral of San Martino, and the Churches of San Michele in Foro and San Frediano.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Florence, whose museums house the greatest artistic treasures in the world. The most important sites in Florence include the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, and the Churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce. Wander some of the most ancient streets in the city until you reach the Arno River, cross the Ponte Vecchio and experience the newest area of Florence, the Oltrarno. Siena, Italy’s loveliest medieval town, is about an hour and half drive from the property, and it is a trip worth making. The heart of the city is represented by the Campo central piazza, known worldwide for the famous Palio horse race, which is held twice every summer. The Campo is dominated by the Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre del Mangia, from which it is possible to admire the view of the town.

Villa Montecatini is less than 50 km from Florence Amerigo Vespucci International Airport, and the Florence train station and bus station are easily accessed in the center of the city. Monsummano is 5 km from the villa, Montecatini is 10 km, Lucca is 39 km, Florence is 72 km, Viareggio is 59 km, Abetone is 60 km, Pisa is 61 km, and Siena is 124 km. The property is also about 2 km from the town of Cintolese, where all the necessary services (supermarket, pharmacy, bank, post office, restaurants) can be easily found.

The Property

The villa is surrounded by a large and exquisitely kept garden where you will find a modern L-shaped pool (11 x 7 meters plus 4 x 5 meters) with comfortable sun loungers, parasols that protect from the sun on hot summer days, and two outdoor showers with total privacy. Thanks to its elegant pergola with curtains, the lounge area beside the pool represents the ideal place to enjoy wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco.

This sophisticated property also boasts a generous al fresco dining area with a large table and barbecue under a pergola, where guests can intimately spend their time together while enjoying traditional Italian food and the mild Tuscan climate. The outdoor dining area leads to the interior living space on the ground floor, which features a modern open-plan dining and sitting area, bar, and well-equipped kitchen, creating an inviting communal space complete with a comfortable sofa and satellite flat-screen TV. To further enhance the symbiotic relationship with the outstanding beauty of the surrounding nature, large windows constantly offer inviting views over the garden while creating a luminous and airy atmosphere dominated by light colors.

Three of the bedrooms also have a single bed, so the villa can easily accommodate up to thirteen guests. On this floor, you will also find a bright TV room which is accessible with the elevator from the SPA downstairs, where the guests can sink into a large corner lounge and choose from hundreds of international channels on the satellite TV.

Wi-Fi Internet connection throughout the villa and air conditioning make this property complete and perfect for even the most demanding guests. The villa also features a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and ironing board. Further comforts and amenities include a first aid kit, an alarm system and a spacious private parking area.
