This exclusive two-floor property is set within the heart of Tuscany amongst the groves of olive trees and flora and fauna of the exquisite countryside right outside the quaint medieval village of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, right outside Florence. The tree-lined road leads to a place where the light breeze accompanies views of the various landmarks near the villa, Villa Magia is a place for wandering, exploring and relaxing. Days spent lounging around the pool, visiting the local villages, sipping wine at sunset will decidedly bring magic and calm to your vacation. Enjoy views of the subtle Tuscan countryside from a one-of-a-kind restored farmhouse full of character, art and charm.

Villa Magia is set in the luscious surrounding landscape of romantic Tuscany. The enchanting pool is just a moment’s walk through the lawn, cottage and meticulously cultivated natural setting. The town of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, featuring the medieval monastery of the Abbey of Passignano, Jerusalem of the gothic church of Madonna della Neve and the Villa di Spoiano is a short walk from the villa. The villa is about 33 km from the cultural capital of Florence, with its art, architecture and unforgettable piazzas.

The capital of the Renaissance, Florence is one of the most sought-after destinations in Europe. Brunelleschi’s masterpiece red dome rests on the captivating cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore gleaming with pinks and greens. The Uffizi museum featuring Botticelli, Michelangelo, Titian and da Vinci is situated near the unforgettable Ponte Vecchio. There you can carry on the tradition of centuries and shop over the River Arno in the artisan jewellery and art shops. There are so many things to experience in this magical place but who could pass up the opportunity to see the mastery of Michelangelo’s Davide up close?

Another wonderful place to visit is about an hour’s drive from Lucca, a town founded by the Etruscans and famous for its towers and ancient ruins. Visit the Piazza dell’Anfiteatro, the cathedral of San Marino and the clock tower to enjoy the romantic air of this quaint city. With an extraordinary pedestrian promenade along the city’s walls, Lucca is unique from all of the other places in the area. The visitor can enjoy a walk along the green paths with a gelato in hand or explore the winding stone streets of this medieval town. Another unforgettable gem to visit is Pisa which can be reached in about an hour and 15 minutes from the villa. With the leaning tower, Duomo and baptistery some of the most-visited tourist sites in Italy, it is impossible to be in the area without visiting Galileo’s old stomping grounds. Admire the white marble glistening in the twilight sun as you sip an aperitivo with friends at the Campo dei Miracoli or Piazza dei Cavalieri. Panizzi Winery near San Gimignano is about a half hour’s drive from the villa. There you can visit the alluring city of medieval towers, sip famous Vernaccia accompanied by a delectable plate of Tagliatelle with sausage or a dish of rabbit in wine sauce. It is an experience a not to be missed.

Villa Magia is an oasis for a large family or small groups and it a perfect place for poolside get-togethers. The villa is 43 km from Florence Amerigo Vespucci International Airport and the well-connected Florence train station and bus station are easily accessed in the center of the city which is 33 km from the villa. Panizzi Winery is 30 km, Lucca is 61 km, Pisa is 85 km.

The Property. Villa Magia is an immense, light-filled estate filled with impeccably decorated rooms with the finest décor which is a blend of modern and classical with the perfect touch of art and design. Dip in the sprawling pool and savour the landscape while sipping a glass of Brunello. Full of history, the area is full of places to explore on foot, on bike or in a car. The villa offer a personal touch and warm welcome with meticulously decorated rooms with exposed wooden beams and ceramic and hard wood pavements. No details have escaped the layout inside and outside this sprawling farmhouse which is complete with a fireplace and several common spaces for lounging and relaxing. This historic villa can easily house eight people in its four distinctly decorated bedrooms.

The exquisitely kept garden terrace leads to the large pool looking onto the heart of Tuscany. This pool area is designed for lounging, sunbathing and wonderful conversations in the breeze coming off of the olive trees lining the property to inspire moments of relaxation. In addition to the exquisite pool and garden, on request a Michelin chef from Florence can prepare authentic dishes as well as innovative cuisine in the large, professional kitchen which can also be served outside on the patio, in in the dining room which can host twelve people. There is also a wood burning pizza oven!

Enter the first floor of the window-lined villa in a large hall with a separate bathroom. You’ll find on the ground floor a large dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a laundry room, office and a spacious living room with a piano, an exposed brick multi media room and movie room and a Turkish bath with a shower and a bathroom. On the second floor you will find three rooms which are all individually designed and decorated with beautiful fabrics, neutral colors and artwork. The master bedroom has French doors, a double bed, large terrace and en suite bathroom with shower. The double room which twin beds/double bed has a large bathroom with a double sink, bathtub and bidet. The third bedroom with twin beds and fourth bedroom with a double bed share a bathroom and living room with a fireplace. For an additional fee, there is a non-renovated annex can be used for a nanny which has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchenette. This property is something dreams are made of.

A few details about the Barn. Please note that the Barn is being restored and will be probably finished in March 2022.

The barn is 180 square meters. On the ground floor you will find a kitchen and a dining room with two French doors leading to a terrace facing the pool and the villa, covered with vines. The first floor houses two spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
