Secluded in the hills that straddle Umbria and Tuscany, between the medieval cities of Arezzo and Perugia and within easy reach of Lake Trasimeno, this exclusive four-bedroom villa is the perfect retreat for unforgettable day trips to the most beautiful towns in Umbria and provides a unique opportunity to admire its splendid landscapes.

The villa is a few kilometers from Perugia, Umbria’s largest city. Its historic center rises in a helter-skelter of cobbled alleys, arched stairways and piazzas framed by churches and palazzi. Reminders of its lively past are everywhere, from ancient arches and medieval basilicas to Renaissance frescoes. But while history reverberates all around, Perugia knows how to party: university students pep up the nightlife and fill café terraces, while music-lovers swarm to the city in July for Umbria Jazz, one of Europe’s top jazz festivals.

In just one hour by car, you can reach Assisi, best known as the birthplace of Saint Francis of Assisi. With the plains spreading picturesquely below and Monte Subasio rearing steep and wooded above, the mere sight of Assisi in the rosy glow of dusk is enough to send pilgrims’ souls spiraling to heaven. It is at this hour, when the town is shrouded in saintly silence, that the spirit of Saint Francis can be felt most keenly. However, you don’t have to be religious to be struck by Assisi’s beauty.

In one hour and half by car, you can reach the medieval town of Montepulciano. Standing high atop a hill not far from Siena, the town of Montepulciano boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the wonderful Val d’Orcia. In just one hour by car, you can also reach Montalcino, extremely well-known for the production of its Brunello red wine, one of the world’s most appreciated Italian wines.

The villa is a few kilometers from Lake Trasimeno, a splash of inky blue on the hilly landscape. Italy’s fourth-largest lake is a prime spot if you want to tiptoe off the well-trodden trail and slip into the languid rhythm of lake life. All around the 128-square-km lake, olive groves, woods of oak and cypress trees, vines and sunflower fields frame castle-topped medieval towns such as Castiglione del Lago and Passignano, draped along its shores like a daisy chain.

Set in a serene countryside of gently rolling hills, Villa La Morra provides a perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in the heart of Umbria. With an impressive sense of space, this splendidly-restored Umbrian farmhouse boasts spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Surrounded by a tranquil landscape, the villa can accommodate up to eight guests featuring four double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread over two floors.

Surrounded by a lush garden, Villa La Morra offers an exclusive swimming pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a calm atmosphere, the outdoor area represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation. With a peaceful atmosphere, the outdoor area also offers a beautiful setting for al fresco meals with your fellow guests.

Flooded with natural light, the living room on the ground floor boasts a stunning wood-beamed ceiling and is the focal meeting point in the house. The stylishly comfortable sofas are designed for long, cozy evenings of conversation in front of the open fire and the long dining table easily seats up to eight people. There is a luxurious, fully-equipped kitchen featuring all the amenities you might need during your stay, while the spacious veranda outside is perfect for romantic al fresco dining.

Villa La Morra is a traditional Umbrian farmhouse with four generous double bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom with both shower and bathtub. The bedrooms have wooden beams and have been tastefully decorated to offer a unique charm and sense of space and well-being. On the ground floor you will find one bedroom, while on the first floor you will find the other three bedrooms. Please note that the air conditioning system is not a fixed system, but there is a portable air conditioner in each bedroom.

Retention time
