Villa Alana is just a stone’s throw from Syracuse, which encapsulates Sicily’s timeless beauty more than any other city: ancient Greek ruins rise out of lush citrus orchards, café tables spill onto dazzling Baroque piazzas, and honey-hued medieval side streets lead down to the sparkling blue sea.

The villa is also a few kilometres from Noto, a spectacular Baroque city and an architectural paradise with one of the most beautiful historic centres in Sicily. Renowned as the Capital of Baroque and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Noto is perched on a plateau overlooking the Asinaro valley, covered by citrus, olive and almond trees. In less than one hour by car, you can reach Marzamemi, a fishing village long known for good seafood, its ancient core home to shoals of restaurants, bars and boutiques.

Surrounded by a garden overlooking the turquoise sea, this modern villa boasts an exclusive infinity pool (heated, on request) and a paved poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and relax. Offering a calm atmosphere, the outdoor space represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun. The outdoor area also features a cozy al fresco lounge area and dining area with barbecue. The villa also boasts direct access to the sea through a private walking path.

Located in Arenella, near Syracuse, this exclusive contemporary property occupies an area of 400 square meters. With large windows creating a luminous and airy atmosphere dominated by light colours, the ground floor of the villa boasts a generous open-plan living and dining area. Flooded with natural light, the room also features a modern fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay, and a guest bathroom. One extra bathroom with shower can be found near the pool.

This 400-square-meter villa boasts four suites complete with en-suite bathroom with shower spread over two floors. On the ground floor you will find the Suite #1. Overlooking the garden and the infinity pool, the 45-square-meter Suite #1 features a comfortable king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. On request, a bed for an extra guest can be added to this room. The room also features an outdoor space with two comfortable sun loungers.

On the upper floor you will find three bright and comfortable suites. Located on the upper floor, the 40-square-meter Suite #2 boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and a large terrace overlooking the sea. The room features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The 45-square-meter Suite #3 overlooks the sea. The room features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. As already mentioned, the villa can comfortably accommodate eight guests in four double bedrooms plus three guests in three single beds that can be added, on request, in three of the four bedrooms.

Energy production is optimized through solar panels and hybrid inverters. The pool works by consuming almost exclusively energy from renewable sources. In fact, the pool is equipped with heat pumps that use renewable energy to heat the water. The performance of this system is calibrated to allow pleasant bathing, but they are not to be considered like thermal pools. The water temperature will be 8-10 degrees higher than the average external temperature. Pool heating available from mid-October to mid-May.
