Known for its millenary natural springs, San Casciano dei Bagni boasts a luxurious spa centre enhanced by a flourishing natural setting and is perfect for those who want to escape the ordinary through a relaxing holiday at the thermal spas. The villa is also a few kilometres away from Chianciano Terme, one of the most renowned thermal bath towns in Europe, whose waters are popular for their therapeutic properties. If you decide to visit the Val d’Orcia, add a day to explore Bagno Vignoni, whose main square is a magnificent thermal pool.

While in Tuscany, do not miss the chance to explore some of the places that UNESCO has declared Heritage for Humanity Sites. Siena, which is about an hour and a half drive from the villa, is a trip worth making. The heart of the city is represented by the Campo central piazza, known worldwide for the famous Palio horse race, which is held twice every summer. Next, head to romantic Pienza, the ideal city commissioned by Pius II and the setting of Zeffirelli’s masterpiece “Romeo and Juliet," and then continue to Montalcino to sip a glass of Brunello.

In less than two hours by car, you can easily reach Florence, whose museums house the greatest artistic treasures in the world. The most important sites in Florence include the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, and the Churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce. Wander the ancient streets of the city until you reach the Arno River, cross the Ponte Vecchio, and experience the newest area of Florence, the Oltrarno. The Property

Built in the 1700s as a farmhouse, this exclusive villa has been lovingly restored to exceptional standards, adding the conveniences and comforts of modern living. The charming views of the surrounding countryside instantly give a sense of peace and calm, making Villa della Fonte the ideal place for relaxing under the Tuscan sun. The property measures 350 square meters and can accommodate up to twelve guests plus two children in seven bedrooms (six double bedrooms and one twin room) and seven bathrooms.

The villa is surrounded by a lush garden of 10.000 square meters, where you will find a large pool with comfortable sun loungers, deckchairs, and an outdoor shower. Thanks to its wooden pergola, the lounge area beside the pool is perfect for enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of Brunello. This magnificent property also boasts two generous al fresco dining areas with a large table under a pergola, where guests can intimately spend time together while enjoying traditional Italian food and the mild Tuscan climate. Near the pool, you will also find a sandpit for kids.

The interior living space is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs offering plenty of seating, while the traditional terracotta floors are brightened by whitewashed beamed ceilings. As the evening falls, sit around the fireplace while enjoying a glass of Tuscan wine or watch a movie on the flat-screen TV. The rustic-meets-modern vibe continues in the spacious dining room, which includes a fireplace and a large table. To enhance the symbiotic relationship with the surrounding nature, large windows constantly offer inviting views over the garden while creating a luminous and airy atmosphere dominated by light colours.

The property also boasts a fully-equipped kitchen with a small table, a professional espresso machine, and a wine cellar cabinet where guests can enjoy their breakfast under the white timber ceiling. Located on the ground floor, the king-size double bedroom boasts plenty of light and charming views over the garden and includes a private bathroom with a marble shower. On the same floor, you will also find a double bedroom featuring a private bathroom with shower and a double bedroom featuring a king-size bed, an oak shelf with two sinks, and an en-suite bathroom with a chromotherapy shower. The ground floor also houses a double bedroom sharing its bathroom (with marble shower) with a twin room offering a wide selection of children’s games, books, and comics, making it the ideal solution for a family with children.

Accessed by the villa’s spacious living room, the first-floor double bedroom provides the comforts of a luxury home, from the extra-large king-size bed to the exclusive Devon&Devon bathtub in the en-suite bathroom. On the same floor, you will also find a king-size double bedroom featuring a private bathroom with a shower in travertine marble. The bedroom leads directly onto an exceptional covered terrace with outdoor dining furniture, which is the perfect place to enjoy wonderful dinners at sunset. Living in a house not far from the villa, the house manager is present but discreet and ready to assist with any service you may require during your stay.

A restaurant, which is just a few meters from the villa, is where welcome dinners and dinners in general (extra, upon request) are served. The restaurant also features an outdoor courtyard for al fresco dinners during the summer.
