In just ten minutes by car, you can easily reach the medieval town of Montepulciano: with views as intoxicating as its “noble” red wine, the delightful walled hilltop town of Montepulciano boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the wonderful Val d’Orcia. Montepulciano’s strategic position makes it a perfect base from which to explore this magical area: from here, you can easily reach the picturesque town of Pienza, a UNESCO Heritage Site also known as “the ideal city of Renaissance”, and the medieval hilltop town of Montalcino, dominated by an imposing fortress and home to its precious Brunello di Montalcino, one of the world’s most famous reds.

Offering generous spaces ideal for large-scale entertaining, Villa Del Monte can accommodate up to sixteen guests offering twelve bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms spread over three buildings separated by courtyards: the main villa, the barn and the pig shed.

The villa is surrounded by a lush garden where you will find a magnificent infinity swimming pool and a spacious poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers and deckchairs to bask in the sun. Offering a peaceful atmosphere and spectacular views over the surrounding countryside, this exclusive paved area beside the pool represents the perfect place for enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco. The garden also features a comfortable hammock and multiple al fresco lounge and dining areas with barbecue and fire pit where guests can intimately spend time together while taking in the unparalleled views of the countryside.

Accessed by the courtyard, the ground floor of the main villa boasts an exceptional fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need for your stay. Flooded with natural light, the kitchen boasts a rustic design and a large island where guests can enjoy their breakfast and the morning papers. Accessed by a short flight of steps, the first floor houses a spacious bedroom featuring queen bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and private balcony. On the first floor you will also find two light-filled bedrooms (one is single occupancy) featuring queen bed, en-suite bathroom with shower, and private terrace. Each bedroom also features private entrance, underfloor heating and heated towel rack.

From the courtyard, guests can access the open-plan living and dining area of the barn, furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs offering plenty of seating: as the evening falls, sit around the fireplace and enjoy a glass of Brunello with your fellow guests. The room also boasts an exceptional fully-equipped kitchen at the guests’ disposal to ensure the most comfortable stay. The barn houses three spacious bedrooms featuring comfortable twin beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and heated towel rack. Fitted with stone floors and state-of-the-art lighting, each bedroom features private entrance and opens up onto its own private garden with views of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves.

Accessed by the courtyard, the pig shed houses two comfortable twin bedrooms featuring private garden and en-suite bathroom with shower, three bedrooms featuring queen bed, private garden and en-suite bathroom with shower, and a light-filled bedroom featuring queen bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. The pig shed also boasts a spacious bedroom featuring its own lounge area, private terrace, en-suite bathroom with shower, and a comfortable king bed on a mezzanine level. Each bedroom also boasts plenty of light and its own private entrance. The twin beds can be pushed together to make a king-size bed.

Although Villa Del Monte features twelve bedrooms, the maximum occupancy of the property is sixteen people. Extra guests can be added at an additional cost on request. Villa Del Monte features Wi-Fi Internet access throughout the property, air conditioning and heating.
