Villa Fiamma is just a stone’s throw away from Buonconvento, one of the most beautiful medieval villages of Italy: located where the rivers Arbia and Ombrone converge, it has been for centuries a stop for travelers along the Via Francigena, and it is also part of the area known as Crete Senesi. The property is also a few kilometers from Montalcino: globally known as the home of one of the world’s greatest wines, Brunello di Montalcino, the attractive hilltop town of Montalcino has a remarkable number of "enoteche" lining its medieval streets and it is surrounded by hugely picturesque wineyards.

In less than one hour by car, you can easily reach Siena, Italy’s loveliest medieval town, whose heart is represented by the magnificent Piazza del Campo, scene of the lively Palio horse race, which is held twice a year in July and August. The Campo is dominated by the Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre del Mangia, from which it is possible to admire the view of the town. The villa is also a few kilometers from Montepulciano, which rests atop a narrow chalky hill where the Val d’Orcia and Val di Chiana meet. The best way to discover the historic center atop the hill is on foot: as you walk along, you will come across mighty Renaissance palaces before reaching, at the highest point of the town, the main piazza.

In less than two hours by car, you can easily reach Florence, whose museums house the greatest artistic treasures in the world. The most important sites in Florence include the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Uffizi, and the Churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce. Wander the ancient streets of the city until you reach the Arno River, cross the Ponte Vecchio and experience the newest area of Florence, the Oltrarno. Where else can you stroll the same streets walked by Michelangelo, Leonardo and Botticelli, while savoring the world’s best gelato?

The Property
Set on 600 hectares of organic vineyards and olive groves between Siena and Montalcino, Villa Fiamma has been masterfully renovated to the highest standards while retaining its original features. The vineyards and olive groves surrounding Villa Fiamma date back to 1315 and this immaculate Tuscan estate has passed through the hands of illustrious aristocrats such as the Guglieschi, the Borghesi and the Tancredi families. With an exclusive pool and a tennis court, this magnificent villa can accommodate up to sixteen guests featuring eight bedrooms (five double bedrooms and three twin rooms).

Immersed in a lush garden, the villa boasts an exclusive pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a calm atmosphere, the poolside area is a dream spot for relaxing in the midday sun with a good book and a glass of prosecco. Outdoors you will also find multiple spots for outdoor dining, as well as outdoor sitting areas for relaxing and socializing. In the property’s three-hectare park you will also find a tennis court and an exclusive wellness area with gym, sauna and bathroom with shower.

Flooded with natural light, the ground floor of the main villa boasts a spacious living room complete with fireplace and elegant sofas with plenty of seating, a smaller living room, and a spacious dining room with a large dining table. As the evening falls, gather around the fireplace and enjoy a glass of local wine with your fellow guests. On the same floor you will also find a generous fully-equipped kitchen featuring a large table. The villa's daily Chef service (extra, on request) is highly recommended since the kitchen is for professional use only (please note that the Chef is only available for dinners, not available for lunches). On the ground floor you will also find a handy guest bathroom.

Offering an exquisite blend of period charm and modern comfort, the first floor of the main villa houses a comfortable living room and a charming reading and TV room. On the same floor you will also find four bedrooms. Room 1 is a master bedroom with king-size bed, en-suite bathroom with shower/tub, dual vanity, private balcony and garden view. Room 2 is a double bedroom with queen-size bed and access to a shared bathroom. This bathroom is shared with a small single room, suitable for a kid (please note that this single room has no air conditioning). Room 3, on the same floor, is a double bedroom with king-size bed, fireplace, en-suite bathroom with shower/bathtub. Room 4 is a twin room (which can be transformed into a double bedroom with king-size bed) complete with en-suite bathroom with shower.

On the second floor of the main villa, you will find three bedrooms. Room 5 is a double bedroom (king-size bed) with fireplace, sharing a bathroom (with shower/bathtub) with Room 6. Room 6 is a twin room (which can be transformed into a double bedroom with king-size bed). Room 7, on the same floor, is a double bedroom (with king-size bed), en-suite bathroom with shower/bathtub, office space and fireplace. On the same floor you will also find a laundry area.

On the third floor, which is in the tower area, you will find one bedroom: a twin room with two French beds (please note that this room cannot be converted into a double bedroom), en-suite bathroom with shower/bathtub, private living area, TV and fireplace. All bedrooms (except the single room suitable for a child) feature air conditioning.
