Situated in the heart of the Val d’Orcia, just a few minutes’ drive from the charming towns of Pienza, Montepulciano and Montalcino, Villa Ametista represents the perfect location for day trips to the most beautiful towns in Tuscany and provides a unique opportunity to admire its iconic landscapes while soaking up the region’s incredibly rich historical and cultural heritage.

Tuscany is popular for its natural springs, whose waters, after having carved the rocks, flow aboveground and create natural pools in which you can bathe and restore your psychophysical balance. The villa is just a stone’s throw away from Chianciano Terme, one of the most renowned thermal bath towns in Europe, whose waters are famous for their therapeutic properties. The villa is also a few kilometers from San Casciano dei Bagni: known for its millenary natural springs, San Casciano dei Bagni boasts a luxurious spa center enhanced by a flourishing natural setting.

The villa is also a stone’s throw away from Pienza, also known as “the ideal city of Renaissance”, and Montepulciano, which boasts elegant Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, charming squares and breathtaking views over the Val d’Orcia. Immersed in a quintessential Tuscan landscape characterized by rolling hills and valleys, Villa Ametista provides a charming setting for those seeking tranquillity and privacy in the heart of Tuscany, between the Val d’Orcia and the Valdichiana. This magnificent villa, which has been completely renovated to the highest standards while preserving the atmosphere of a 18th-century farmhouse, combines contemporary design with unique antiques. Offering generous and airy spaces ideal for large-scale entertaining, Villa Ametista can accommodate up to twelve guests (plus two guests), featuring six double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms spread over the main villa and the dépendance.

Immersed in a land of four hectares, the villa boasts an exceptional swimming pool and a spacious poolside area equipped with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and bask in the sun. Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the poolside area represents an idyllic spot for enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book and a glass of prosecco. The garden also features a generous al fresco dining area with barbecue and pizza oven under the shade of a pergola where guests can intimately spend time together while enjoying traditional Italian dishes.

Accessed by the garden, the ground floor boasts spacious living areas furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs offering plenty of seating: as the evening falls, enjoy a glass of Brunello with your fellow guests. On the ground floor you will also find a generous dining room with a large table and a modern fully-equipped kitchen featuring all the amenities you might need for your stay. The ground floor also houses a comfortable double bedroom featuring en-suite bathroom with tub. Accessed by a short flight of steps, the first floor houses two spacious double bedrooms featuring en-suite bathroom with tub, and two double bedrooms featuring en-suite bathroom with shower.

One more double bedroom featuring en-suite bathroom with an exclusive marble bathtub can be found in the dépendance situated next to the main villa. Please note that the villa can accommodate 12 guests plus 2 guests in two single beds that can be added in the bedrooms according to the preferences of the guests.

Retention time
