Location and Surrounding Area. Located in one of the most appreciated areas in Southern Italy, just a few kilometres from the marvellous Adriatic coast and out the charming town of Cisternino, this modern five-bedroom villa is ideally situated to offer complete privacy to its guests, providing a perfect retreat for those who want to explore this exclusive area. Famous for its whitewashed towns, excellent food, dramatic coastal cliffs and beautiful beaches, this area of Apulia features all the ingredients for the perfect vacation.

In just ten minutes by car, you can easily reach Locorotondo, a whitewashed hilltop town designated as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. The old city radiates out around the 19th century neoclassical Chiesa Madre San Giorgio, a church dedicated to the patron saint of the city. Since Locorotondo is perched on a hill, you can get amazing views of the surrounding countryside from the Villa Comunale, the public garden located on the west side of the historic centre.

The villa is just a stone’s throw away from the town of Martina Franca, the largest town in the Valle d’Itria. Being in the heart of the valley, the town of Martina Franca is a great base from which to explore this wonderful area, but spend some time exploring its old centre, an interesting mix of golden baroque and Greek-like white architecture with many grand palazzi and churches, and a maze of narrow side streets perfect for aimless wandering.

In just twenty minutes by car, you can easily reach Ostuni, also known as “the white city”. With its ancient cobblestone streets, grand churches and quaint white houses, Ostuni boasts remarkable history that goes back to the Stone Ages. The Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace are especially striking, but there are many other architectural gems to be found, including the old homes of the nobles: you would not be mistaken for thinking that you are wandering around a lovely Greek village.

In twenty minutes by car, you can also reach the town of Alberobello, perhaps the most famous town in the Valle d’Itria due to its typical trulli: the conical rooftops coupled with charming cobblestone alleys and whitewashed houses are a simply magical sight. The old town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of a maze of lovely streets and steps lined by trulli. Alberobello is considered a unique and enchanting place, and even though you may find it a bit touristy, it is definitely worth a visit.

The villa is also a few kilometres from Savelletri, a pretty port town with beaches and great dining options. Known for the quality seafood, Savelletri offers a traditional fishing village atmosphere. Enjoy some fresh fish just brought in by the fishermen and stroll along the charming seafront. There is a lovely waterfront church with Templar symbols, which is dedicated to the patron saint, celebrated in grand style on the second Sunday of August with a procession by sea of boats.

Villa Piuma is 59 km from Brindisi Airport (also known as Salento Airport) and 86 km from Bari Karol Wojtyla International Airport. The Property. Located in the heart of Valle d’Itria, Villa Piuma boasts a modern design creating an exclusive retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners in Southern Italy. With an impressive sense of comfort, this exceptional property features an exclusive heated swimming pool. With accommodation all on one level, Villa Piuma can sleep up to ten guests in five double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spread over the main house and the dépendance.

Encircled by olive groves and surrounded by a lush garden, the villa boasts an exceptional heated pool (75 sqm) and a paved poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the poolside area is perfect for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book. Outdoors you will also find a spacious al fresco lounge area and a dining area complete with pizza oven and barbecue.

Offering an impressive sense of comfort and elegance, the villa features stylish contemporary furnishings and abundance of light thanks to the large windows overlooking the outdoor area. In the bright open-plan living and dining area, large glass windows open onto the garden. Flooded with natural light, the spacious living room boasts a large flat-screen smart TV and comfortable sofas with plenty of seating. Here you will also find a convenient guest bathroom.

The villa boasts a generous fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay: fridge and freezer with ice maker, induction hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee station and kettle. In the main house, you will find four modern double bedrooms, all equipped with closet and en-suite bathroom with shower. In the dépendance, located near the pool area on the lower ground level, you will find the fifth double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower. All bedrooms are equipped with smart TV.

On request, an extra bed (single bed) for one additional guest can be added in the master bedroom. In the large park surrounding the property, you will find a padel court, a fitness area, and a children’s play area. Please note all these facilities are shared with the nearby Trulli Regina, which is about 500 meters from the property.

Retention time
