Whether sampling the new wines of the spring, picnicking in the vineyards, or hunting autumnal truffles, staying at Casa Gaia allows you to enjoy Piedmont across all its wonderful seasons.

Most of the visitors to the Piedmont are drawn to the many wine-tasting opportunities: this wine region produces the largest number of DOCG wines, the best quality you can get according to Italian law. Another great highlight of Piedmont is the food. Some of the cuisine you are likely to see on the menu includes Piemontese beef, home-made agnolotti, hazelnut-based desserts and the best specialty of all, white truffles from Alba, which is known as the center of gastronomy in this area.

Alba’s pugnacious skyline is studded with medieval towers, but at ground level, this gateway to the Langhe and Roero wine regions is made up of upscale boutiques, wine bars, and delis selling every imaginable variety of cheese, salami, wine, and truffle. Nearby Bra, another of those neat Piedmontese villages with a nose for business in addition to flowery attractiveness, is the headquarters of the Slow Food movement, which started here in the 1980s.

The Property
Located in Monteu Roero, in the province of Cuneo, Casa Gaia boasts an idyllic location and generous entertainment spaces in Piedmont. Renovated in 2023, this elegant property offers stylish contemporary furnishings and an abundance of natural light. With an eclectic mix of classic and modern artwork, the villa boasts a spacious outdoor area with a large pool. Spread over two floors, Casa Gaia can accommodate twenty guests in 10 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, plus 6 additional guests.

Surrounded by lush mountain landscapes, the villa boasts a generous garden crowned by an exclusive pool and a paved poolside area furnished with colorful parasols and comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to unwind. Offering a calm atmosphere, the property boasts a wide choice of outdoor areas where you can relax with a book or take a siesta. Outdoors, you will also find a patio with a shaded dining area, perfect for quiet moments and intimate evening drinks.

Recently restored, this exceptionally-designed villa offers modern comfort and plenty of light. Decorated with a unique blend of modern and antique furnishings, the ground floor boasts a comfortable lounge with plush sofas and two gorgeous armchairs: the perfect spot to relax after a long day walking around Cuneo. With an eclectic mix of classic and modern artwork, the ground floor also features a contemporary, fully-equipped kitchen, a bright living room, and a generous dining room with brightly colored chairs.

On the ground floor, you will find three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower. One of the bedrooms on this floor has a double sofa bed for two extra guests. One of the bedrooms on this floor has two single sofa beds for two extra guests. On the first floor, there are seven double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom (five with shower and two with tub). One of the bedrooms on this floor has a mezzanine level with two single beds for two extra guests. On request, all bedrooms can be transformed into twin rooms.

Retention time
