Located on Monte Argentario, Villa Orietta is the perfect location for unforgettable day trips to the most beautiful towns in Tuscany and provides a unique opportunity to admire its splendid landscapes while soaking up the region’s historical and cultural heritage. Some of the places in the surrounding area are the historic center of Capalbio, the towns of Porto Ercole and Santo Stefano, the thermal baths at Saturnia, the Valle D'Orcia, and the medieval jewels of Siena, Montalcino and Montepulciano.

Monte Argentario attracts tourists from all over the world for its unique landscape, its marine environment and its mild climate, which makes it a perfect holiday destination for most of the year. In addition to its natural beauty, the charm of Porto Ercole derives from the imposing Spanish fortresses that were built in the 16th century: Forte Filippo, la Rocca and Forte Stella are three perfectly preserved fortifications from which you can admire the wonderful views of the sea.

The villa is located near Capalbio, an alluring town standing at the top of a hill covered with Maremma brush. Because of its elegance, Capalbio has become a holiday destination for the elite, drawn by the evocative atmosphere in the streets and the ancient castle that dominates the valley below. Orbetello is nestled on a narrow strip of land stretching through a lagoon with the same name. In tune with its surroundings, the town’s trade has always been fishing, made easy by the shallow waters of the lagoon.

The villa is a few kilometers from Magliano, famous for its delicious Morellino di Scansano wine. Boasting a pleasing medieval aspect, the town is perched on a hill with vineyards and olive trees right in the middle of the Maremma, whose natural park extends into the town’s municipal territory. The picturesque seaside resort of Porto Santo Stefano overlooks the northern side of the peninsula. Particularly beloved are the promenade along the seafront and the port. From here, you can also explore the nearby Giglio Island.

Villa Orietta is 146 km from Leonardo da Vinci International Airport, 194 km from Florence Amerigo Vespucci International Airport and 200 km from Pisa Galileo Galilei International Airport. The center of Porto Santo Stefano is less than 200 m from the villa.Cala Moresca is 7 km from the villa, Cala Piccola is 8 km, Orbetello is 10 km, Porto Ercole is 13 km, Magliano is 29 km, Capalbio is 37 km, Grosseto is 46 km and Saturnia is 59 km.

The Property
With gorgeous terraces overlooking the sea, Villa Orietta provides the perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most popular corners in Tuscany. With a contemporary style, the idyllic setting of this modern villa ensures superb panoramas. Flooded with natural light, Villa Orietta can accommodate up to fourteen guests featuring eight bedrooms (five double bedrooms, one twin room and two single rooms) with en-suite bathroom spread over three floors.

With a lush garden and three generous terraces overlooking the sea, the villa boasts an exclusive pool and a generous outdoor area equipped with comfortable sofas and armchairs to relax in the idyllic Italian sun. With wonderful views of the sea, the villa boasts gorgeous al fresco lounge area with comfortable sofas where guests can enjoy true moments of relaxation in the company of a good book. Outdoors you will also find generous al fresco dining areas with large tables.

With panoramic views over the turquoise sea, Villa Orietta is the result of a perfect balance between Italian tradition and contemporary style. On the ground floor you will find four bedrooms: two double bedrooms, one twin room and one single room. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathroom with shower. On the same floor you will also find a kitchenette. Flooded with light, the upper floor, which is the main floor, boasts a modern fully-equipped kitchen overlooking the sea, an open-plan living and dining area, and a guest bathroom.

Accessed from a staircase, the second floor has three double bedrooms and one single room. All bedrooms feature en-suite bathroom. The en-suite bathroom of one of the double bedrooms has a bathtub. All other bathrooms feature a shower. On the third floor of the villa you will find a room complete with exercise bike, a guest bathroom and a bathroom with shower. The property also features a dépendance for the staff of the villa, located in the upper area of the property. The housekeeping staff lives in the dépendance and will take care of the villa throughout the stay.

Retention time
