Sandwiched between the Apennines and the Adriatic coast, this hilly region boasts a string of exquisite provincial towns. Linger long enough in the hilltop parks, lively boulevards and cafe-rimmed piazzas and you will start to see another, more likeable side to Le Marche's seafront capital.

Its historic center, seemingly little changed in more than 400 years, rises in a helter-skelter of cobbled alleys, arched stairways and piazzas framed by solemn churches and magnificent Gothic palazzi. The Property. Built during the 11th century and set between Mount Sibilla, the Infernaccio gorge and the hilltop town of Montefortino, Villa La Rocca is an ancient watchtower that was used to control the passage of men and goods in the upper part of the Tenna valley. After having undergone a meticulous and loving restoration, this magnificent residence can be enjoyed as a luxury retreat for those seeking peace, relax and meditation. Villa La Rocca can accommodate up to nine guests in two apartments, one on the ground floor (two guests plus two extra guests) and one on the first floor (five guests).

Surrounded by a garden filled with artworks and statues, the property features a private amphitheater with a unique view. Outdoors, the property also boasts an exclusive swimming pool and a generous poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Apartment 1 – Ground Floor: Located on the ground floor, the apartment can accommodate up to four guests (two guests plus two extra guests) featuring a double bedroom and a comfortable double sofa bed, which is found in the living/dining area Elegance and careful attention to detail can be seen in the lighting and furnishings of this apartment on the ground floor of the medieval tower. Offering an elegant atmosphere, the apartment boasts an open-plan living and dining area and a kitchenette which disappears behind a closet, and a bathroom with shower and double access (from the bedroom and the living/dining area). Throughout this exceptional apartment, the architectural elements preserved during the restoration perfectly blend with modern elements. Please note that the fireplace is just decorative.

Apartment 2 – First Floor: Accessed from the first floor, this apartment is arranged on different levels and can accommodate up to five guests. The generous dining room, with a kitchenette that disappears behind a sliding door, overlooks a charming terrace from which you can enjoy wonderful views over the Infernaccio gorge and the villages perched on the mountains. On the upper floor you will find a comfortable single room, a light-filled double bedrooms with French bed, and a shared bathroom with shower. Upstairs, you will find a second double bedroom with a round skylight overlooking the starry sky and an exclusive bathroom with shower and Jacuzzi tub. From this room, you can access the top of the tower.
