Located on the western shore of Lake Como with charming views across the water to Dervio and Bellagio, this magnificent recently-renovated villa is the perfect place for a stylish Italian break by the lake that inspired composers, artists and poets. Villa del Pastore is just a stone’s throw from Menaggio, a picturesque town of ancient origins loved by tourists for its elegant promenade and its proximity to very popular towns such as Bellagio and Varenna.

Take a boat to Tremezzo, one of the most romantic places on the Lake Como, and visit Villa Carlotta. Built at the close of the 17th century, Villa Carlotta was enriched by valuable works of art, including incredible sculptures by Antonio Canova, still on display inside the villa. But the main attraction is its luxuriant garden by the calm waters of Lake Como, which is divided into two parts, an Italian garden designed in the 18th century and an English one laid out by princess Carlotta herself.

The villa is just a stone’s throw from Lenno, nestling by a little bay in the lake. The village boasts a beautiful 11th-century church, restored in the 16th century, with a baptistery nearby. From here, head for the grand Villa Balbianello. Do not miss the view of the lake from the balcony and allow a few hours to explore the rooms, in particular the Expeditions Museum, which has memorabilia from Guido Monzino’s travels. Take a walk around the gardens and enjoy the wonderful views from the trails.

Villa del Pastore is 91 km from Milano Malpensa Airport and 102 km from Milano Linate Airport. Menaggio is 7 km from the villa, Tremezzo is 11 km, Villa Carlotta is 11 km, Varenna is 12 km, Lenno is 14 km, Mezzegra is 14 km, Bellagio is 14 km, Villa Balbianello is 15 km, Isola Comacina is 16 km, Argegno is 21 km, Como is 42 km. The villa is in the center of Rezzonico, where all the necessary services can be easily found.

Immersed in a lush garden with sweeping views of the calm waters of Lake Como, Villa del Pastore provides the perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners in Northern Italy. Offering a calm atmosphere, this exceptional villa has been recently renovated and boasts a blend of modern and traditional furnishings. Villa del Pastore can accommodate up to twelve guests featuring five bedrooms spread over multiple floors.

Surrounded by a beautiful garden, this magnificent property boasts an exclusive swimming pool and a poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the poolside area represents an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying wonderful moments of relaxation in the company of a good book. With charming views over the lake, the garden features plenty of space for relaxing and socializing.

Flooded with natural light, the villa boasts a large living and dining area complete with fireplace, wonderful for cozy conversations on chilly days. As the evening falls, sit around the fireplace and enjoy a glass of local wine with your fellow guests. The oak dining table is handy for the kitchen and sits up to twelve guests. The French windows open out onto a stunning panoramic terrace with comfortable seating set up for al fresco dining under the stars. The sleek kitchen is fully equipped and features a useful island in the center.

The recent remodeling of the interiors adds a modern yet sophisticated touch. The villa features four bedrooms (three double bedrooms and one twin room), each with en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and a generous attic where you will find a fifth bedroom with five single beds. The only bedroom on the ground floor is the one with twin beds and has a large walk-in shower. The other three double bedrooms are on the first floor. The first floor also features a beautiful vine-covered balcony for evening aperitifs.

Please note that the max. number of guests that the villa can accommodate is twelve due to limited seating capacity, so that guests can have more space and comfort.

Retention time
