Location and Surrounding Area. Nestled in a spectacular valley and surrounded by the majestic peaks of the Dolomites, this exclusive six-bedroom chalet is perfectly located in Cortina, a paradise for lovers of alpine sports, not only because of its ski stations, but also because of the opportunities to practice Nordic walking, climbing via ferrata and mountaineering. But above all, once the snow has melted away, it is the ideal destination for those who want to enjoy mountain bike excursions thanks to the Long Route of the Dolomites, one of the most spectacular cycling routes in Italy.

A via ferrata, literally an “iron path”, is an equipped climbing route leading to a summit or other alpine destination, equipped with cables, chains, rungs, bridges and other fixed anchor points such as ladders or wooden walkways. For experienced hikers, taking on a via ferrata is often top of their wish list, and nowhere compares with the Dolomites in terms of the number and sheer beauty of these equipped paths. There are 15,560 meters of equipped paths and vie ferrate for you to tackle, armed with all the right equipment including carabiners and harness.

Cortina also offers more than 400 kilometers of signposted footpaths and hiking trails through meadows and forests, mountain lodges and Alpine lakes. There are trails of all difficulties and lengths, making Cortina an ideal destination for both well-trained hikers and for those who want to enjoy peaceful walks admiring breathtaking views. Retention time
