Location and Surrounding Area

Located near the center of Nerano, this ten-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a relaxing break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. Surrounded by one of the most untouched areas on the Amalfi Coast, Nerano is a landscape of rocky cliffs, ancient olive groves and intense natural beauty. Not far from Punta Campanella, Nerano is a tiny village built into the mountains overlooking a pretty little harbor below.

Despite its attractive setting, what brings most visitors to Nerano is the seaside hamlet of Marina del Cantone. A road leads from the village of Nerano down to Marina del Cantone, where you are greeted by brightly colored umbrellas lining the beach and the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea. The pebbly beach hugs the gentle curve of the quiet harbor, and the beachfront offers one lido after another where you can rent sun beds and umbrellas.

The beach is lined with restaurants offering outdoor terraces with lovely views of the harbor. While you are in Nerano, one of the local specialties to try is spaghetti con zucchine alla Nerano. Pasta prepared with zucchini and parmigiano is a traditional dish all over the Amalfi Coast, but in Nerano the dish takes on a richer and creamier flavor with the addition of caciocavallo or the Provolone del Monaco D.O.P cheese made exclusively on the Sorrento Peninsula.

The village of Sant’Agata Sui Due Golfi sits atop the crest of the Sorrento Peninsula with sea views over the gulfs of Naples and Salerno. Despite its proximity to several holiday havens, the village generates a tangibly different climate to nearby Sorrento, both meteorologically and culturally. Walking options are legion. Trails lead off in all directions and it won’t take long before you hit a coast. The food is equally legendary, even by Italian standards, with some wonderful agriturismi.

Sorrento is a town of lemons, high-pedigree hotels and plunging cliffs that cut through the historical center. Tourism has a long history here: it was a compulsory stop on the Grand Tour and interest in the town was first sparked by the poet Byron, who inspired a long line of literary geniuses to sample the Sorrentine air. Wander through Piazza Tasso and you will be exposed to one of Italy’s finest strolls, snaking past palatial hotels, marquetry shops and restaurants serving gnocchi finished off with a shot of ice-cold limoncello.

To the west and south-west of Sorrento is Massa Lubrense, and a wild stretch of coast that developers have left untouched. Massa Lubrense is home to hamlets and ancient look-out towers, a reminder of invasions over the centuries, surrounded by citrus and olive groves. It comprises a small-town center and several hamlets joined by an intricate latticework of paths and mule tracks. For those without a donkey, there is a good network of SITA buses, but this is excellent walking country with the two gulfs rarely out of sight.

Villa Rosa Marina is 66 km from Naples Capodichino International Airport and 294 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. Nerano is just 700 m from the villa, Massa Lubrense is 10 km, Sant’Agata Sui Due Golfi is 7 km, Sorrento is 10 km, Vico Equense is 25 km, Positano is 25 km, Amalfi is 39 km, Pompeii is 40 km, Ravello is 46 km, Herculaneum is 56 km, and Naples is 63 km.

Located in the suggestive bay of Nerano, Villa Rosa Marina provides the ultimate retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners in Southern Italy. Trapped between a blue sky and azure sea, the villa is just five hundred meters from the beach of Nerano, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Amalfi Coast. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, Villa Rosa Marina can accommodate up to twenty plus two guests featuring ten double bedrooms and one bunk bed.

Villa Rosa Marina boasts four exceptional terraces. The view from the top terrace is breathtaking, best enjoyed from the comfort a hammock in the shade of an olive tree. Offering a tranquil atmosphere, the villa boasts an infinity pool and an exclusive poolside area with comfortable sun loungers and deckchairs inviting guests to sit back and unwind while enjoying the panorama. With gorgeous views of the sea, this area is the perfect retreat to sunbathe or just sip a cocktail while enjoying the breeze.

Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the outdoor area also features a spacious al fresco dining area complete with pizza oven, barbecue and wonderful views over the sea. The second terrace on the next level down is dedicated to al fresco dining and features a barbecue, a wood-burning pizza oven and a large table that can accommodate more than twenty guests. The dining area itself is on a patio covering sixty square meters with a pergola providing shade during sunny afternoons.

The third and main terrace covers more than two hundred square meters and is furnished with a large dining table and comfortable sofas, armchairs and romantic tables for two dotted around the sides. With charming views over the bay, the fourth terrace is on the ground floor and leads directly into the living area close to the kitchen and the indoor dining room. The ground floor of the villa boasts a living room, a dining room, a TV room with comfortable sofas, and a professional kitchen.

On the ground floor you will also find two comfortable double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower and wonderful sea views. In one of the double bedrooms on the ground floor you will find a bunk bed for two guests. The entrance to the villa is on the first floor and it also leads directly onto the main terrace. On the first floor you will also find four bright double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower. Three of the bedrooms have gorgeous sea views, while the fourth has a charming view over the gardens.

On the second floor you will find four comfortable double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom with shower. Three of the bedrooms on this floor have their own private terrace, offering fantastic views of the sea and the Amalfi Coast. Flooded with natural light, all bedrooms feature comfortable king-size beds and large en-suite bathrooms with shower. Offering a relaxing atmosphere, the villa also features an exclusive hot tub that can accommodate up to six people.

Retention time
