It would take weeks to see all that the city has to offer, but a few days is enough to explore Rome’s most beautiful sites.

This exclusive property is just a few kilometers from the Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum, the ancient center of the civil and religious life of the city. The well-preserved ruins make it the most memorable attraction for many visitors to Rome. The Trevi Fountain, the world’s most famous fountain, is a Baroque explosion of tritons, winged horses and drinking snakes, and its water glitters with thousands of coins that tourists have tossed in.

The Colosseum is the biggest amphitheater ever built and the most eloquent symbol of Imperial Rome. Half circus, half sports arena, Rome’s most famous classical ruin is unmissable, especially now that they have extended the visitor route to the underfloor passageways through which gladiators and wild beasts made their entrances. The villa is also a few kilometers from the Pantheon, the city’s best preserved ancient temple and a must for any first visit to Rome.

From here, head to Piazza Navona, a magnificent square with a fountain by Bernini and a popular gathering point for Romans with its bustling terraced cafés and seasonal fairgrounds. The villa is also a few kilometers from the Sistine Chapel and the Roman sculpture-and-sarcophagi-stuffed Vatican Museums, which are normally top of a first-time visitor’s bucket list. Your journey is not complete without a visit to St. Peter's Square and St. Peter's Basilica, one of the largest churches ever built.

The center of Rome is about 9 km from the villa. The Vatican Museums are 5 km, the Sistine Chapel is 5 km, Piazza Navona is 6 km, St. Peter’s Basilica and St. Peter’s Square are 6 km, the Pantheon is 7 km, the Palatine Hill is 8 km, the Colosseum is 8 km, the Roman Forum is 8 km, the Trevi Fountain is 10 km and the Galleria Borghese is 10 km.

The Property

Just a stone’s throw from the heart of Rome, Villa Monteverde boasts the most sophisticated and contemporary décor, providing a perfect hideaway in one of the most romantic corners in Italy. Surrounded by the natural reserve of Valle dei Casali, this exceptionally-designed property embodies the true spirit of comfort and elegance. Offering a stylish and modern atmosphere, Villa Monteverde can sleep up to ten guests featuring five double bedrooms complete with en-suite bathroom spread over three floors.

Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the villa boasts a generous garden with pool under the shade of maritime pines, palm trees and orange trees. The paved poolside area is furnished with sun loungers and deckchairs inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Surrounded by greenery, the outdoor space also features a covered al fresco lounge area and a dining area complete with barbecue. The villa also features a small rooftop terrace overlooking the park, perfect for sunbathing. Pool heating is provided in April and October, on request and at no additional cost. However, pool heating is not provided during winter months.

Upon entering the villa, guests will be met with a bright and elegant living room with original 1950s marble floors, precious curtains, opulent furnishings, an elegant grand piano and a stunning fireplace. An amazing chandelier hangs above a large table that can seat twelve people in the dining area. Flooded with light, the ground floor's modern and functional kitchen overlooks the outdoor dining area. On the same floor, you will also find two double bedrooms (one with king-size bed and one with queen-size bed) with en-suite bathroom with shower, and two guest bathrooms.

Built in the 1950s, this villa has been recently and masterfully renovated with greatest attention to detail. Decorated with stylish furnishings and exclusive artworks, the villa offers the ultimate blend of style and comfort. On the first floor, you will find three double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower. The master bedroom features a California king-size bed (230x200 cm) while the other bedrooms feature a king-size bed (200x200 cm). On request, one of these bedrooms can be converted into a twin room. The first floor also boasts a terrace and an office with an Apple computer, printer, scanner, and fax machine to work in complete autonomy. On the same floor you will also find a fourth bathroom with shower.

Finally, the lower ground floor houses a recreation area designed for leisure time with your fellow guests. This floor features a lounge area featuring a TV, a fireplace, and a large sofa with plenty of seating, plus a wine cellar with prestigious Italian wines. On this floor, you will also find a modern gym with Technogym equipment, including a treadmill, an exercise bike and weigh bench. Fitness lovers will be able to keep up with their workout regimen without leaving the comfort of their own villa. On this floor you will also find a handy laundry room and a guest bathroom.
