Location and Surrounding Area. Located in one of the most appreciated areas in Apulia, just a few kilometers from the Adriatic coast, this four-bedroom masseria is ideally situated to offer complete privacy to its guests, providing an opulent retreat for those who want to explore the Valle d’Itria and its countryside, dotted with characteristic trulli, dry-stone walls, vineyards and olive groves stretching as far as the eye can see. Famous for its whitewashed towns and beautiful beaches, the Valle d’Itria features all the ingredients for the perfect vacation.

Crystal clear waters and cliffs pitted with caves carved by the sea give Polignano a Mare its uniqueness. Known as the pearl of the Adriatic, Polignano a Mare is the ideal place to plunge into uncontaminated waters and explore a picturesque historic center by the sea. In just half an hour by car, you can easily reach Alberobello, famous for its trulli houses. The conical rooftops coupled with charming cobblestone alleys and whitewashed houses are a simply magical sight.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Savelletri, a pretty port town with beaches and great dining options. Known for the quality seafood, Savelletri offers a traditional fishing village atmosphere. Enjoy some fresh fish just brought in by the fishermen and stroll along the charming seafront. There is a lovely waterfront church with Templar symbols, which is dedicated to the patron saint, celebrated in grand style on the second Sunday of August with a procession by sea of boats.

The villa is just a stone’s throw from Locorotondo, a whitewashed hilltop town designated as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, and from Cisternino, often listed as one of the most beautiful towns in Italy. After you have visited the historic Chiesa di San Nicola, you can get charming views of the surrounding countryside from Piazza Garibaldi, across the street from the church, and the Torre Civica, the tower which helped to protect the city.

The villa is less than an hour from Martina Franca, the largest town in the Valle d’Itria. Being in the heart of the valley, Martina Franca is a great base from which to explore the area, but spend some time exploring its old center which boasts beautiful Baroque architecture and quaint streets. The villa is also a few kilometers from Ostuni, which shines out against the surrounding verdant landscape. Its hilltop center takes in a panorama that ranges over a hinterland rich in art and tradition to the turquoise shades of the distant sea.

Masseria Fieno is 52 km from Bari Karol Wojtyla International Airport, 87 km from Brindisi Airport (also known as Salento Airport) and 295 km from Napoli Capodichino International Airport. The villa is 16 km from Polignano a Mare, 20 km from Alberobello, 29 km from Locorotondo, 32 km from Savelletri, 35 km from Cisternino, 35 km from Martina Franca, 40 km from Bari and 58 km from Ostuni. The villa is about 6 km from the center of Conversano, where all the necessary services can be easily found.

The Property. Surrounded by seven hectares of olive groves and fruit trees, Masseria Fieno is an elegant farmhouse located in one of the most idyllic corners in Southern Italy. With exquisite views of the surrounding countryside, this carefully-restored villa exudes a tranquil atmosphere that will leave guests completely relaxed. Masseria Fieno can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests featuring four double bedrooms and five bathrooms spread over the main villa and the annex.

Surrounded by typical stone walls, the property boasts a rectangular-shaped pool and a generous poolside area furnished with cushioned sun loungers and deckchairs inviting guests to sit back and unwind. Offering a peaceful atmosphere, the garden also features a generous shaded al fresco dining area complete with barbecue. With gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside, the outdoor space is the perfect retreat to sunbathe or just sip a cocktail while enjoying the sea breeze.

Accessed from the garden, the ground floor of the main villa boasts a lounge area featuring comfortable armchairs and an adjacent open-plan living and dining area featuring a comfortable sofa with plenty of seating, a large dining table, stone walls and wood beamed ceilings, a reminder of the typically Apulian style. On the same floor you will also find a rustic kitchen featuring all the amenities you might need during your stay and a bathroom with shower.

Flooded with natural light, the ground floor of the main villa also houses two comfortable double bedrooms featuring en-suite bathroom with shower. On the first floor of the main villa you will find a second kitchen with small breakfast table and a comfortable double bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom with shower. If you want some quiet time, head to the terrace on the first floor and take in the stunning views of the surrounding area.

Offering a calm atmosphere, the annex is just 120 meters from the main villa and features a comfortable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and direct access to a generous al fresco dining area. The villa features wireless Internet access, air conditioning and heating throughout the property, and a private parking space for the exclusive use of the villa’s guests. In the living room of the main villa, there is a comfortable double sofa bed that can sleep two extra guests on request.
