The Property
Situated within the beautiful Tuscan landscape, just a stone’s throw from Florence, Tenuta Al Bosco is an exclusive historic residence nestled in the heart of the Chianti region. Sitting on a private estate of 1,500 acres, this Tuscan farmhouse, once owned by the Medici family in 1350, comes complete with a pool and staff. Surrounded by rolling hills and steeped in ancient history, Tenuta Al Bosco can accommodate twelve guests in six bedrooms (five doubles and one twin) spread across three floors.

With its enchanting setting, the villa boasts a generous garden crowned by an exclusive pool. The area around the pool is furnished with comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to relax. Surrounded by oak trees and cypresses, this private estate of 1,500 acres also features an al fresco dining area under the shade of a white gazebo and a shaded outdoor lounge where you can unwind with a book. The pool is open from 1st March to 31st October and can be heated upon request at an additional cost.

With beamed ceilings, terracotta floors, and bright rooms, the villa is spread across three floors. On the ground floor, the fully-equipped kitchen opens onto the courtyard, with doors leading to the al fresco dining area. Adjacent to the kitchen is a pantry with a wine cooler offering a selection of local wines (available at extra cost, upon request). The ground floor also includes an elegant dining room seating up to twelve, a spacious living room with a decorative open fireplace, and a recreation room complete with a large pool table.

With classic décor and terraces making the most of the views across the rolling hills, this villa offers an exclusive retreat in Tuscany. The first floor houses four double bedrooms and one twin room, each with air conditioning and countryside views. Three of these bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers, while the other two doubles share a bathroom with a shower, accessible from both rooms. The first floor also features a cosy living room with a decorative fireplace.

The lower ground floor, accessed from the courtyard, includes a double bedroom with a king-size bed, an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and a walk-in wardrobe. Adjacent to the bedroom is also a guest bathroom. This bedroom has private access to the garden and a furnished terrace. Mosquito nets are fitted in all rooms, and ceiling fans are available in all bedrooms and living rooms. Air conditioning is available throughout the villa, including the kitchen, dining room, and living rooms. All bathrooms are provided with a courtesy set, which includes shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hand soap, and body lotion.
