Location and Surrounding Area. Villa Vittoria is less than ten kilometers from Colle Val d’Elsa, also known as the capital of crystal: chalices, plates and glasses are created with a mix of mastery and commitment that is still observed today, making the town the producer of nearly all the crystal manufactured in Italy. With its multitude of towers sticking out against the horizon, San Gimignano represents one of the most iconic destinations in Tuscany, and is just a stone’s throw away from the villa.

Villa Vittoria is also a few kilometers from Siena, Italy’s loveliest medieval town, whose heart is represented by the magnificent Piazza del Campo, scene of the lively Palio horse race, which is held twice a year in July and August. The Campo is dominated by the Palazzo Pubblico and its Torre Mangia, from which it is possible to admire the view of the town. If you are not in Siena during the Palio days, you can still soak up the atmosphere by visiting the museums run by each contrada, where you can catch a glimpse of the old drapes and ornaments that have colored the competition over the centuries.

In just one hour by car, you can easily reach Florence, famous for being a treasure chest of priceless heritage. The most important sites in Florence include the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Uffizi and the Galleria dell’Accademia. The churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce are veritable art galleries, while the library of San Lorenzo is a magnificent exhibition of Michelangelo’s architectural genius. Wander some of the most ancient streets in the city until you reach the Arno River, cross the Ponte Vecchio and experience the newest area of Florence, the Oltrarno.

Pisa, exceptionally well-known for its famous Leaning Bell Tower, is about an hour and a half’s drive from the villa. After having climbed all the steps up to the top of the tower to admire the breathtaking view of the town, continue your visit to other monuments in the marvelous Piazza dei Miracoli, where every element is unique and hides secrets that add mystery to the general splendor: begin at the Cathedral, with its marble façade enhanced by spectacular columns and statues, before continuing to the Baptistery, another gem you absolutely cannot miss.

Villa Vittoria is 60 km from Florence Santa Maria Novella Train Station, 65 km from Florence Amerigo Vespucci International Airport, and less than 260 km from Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO). Colle Val d’Elsa is 10 km from the villa, San Gimignano is 25 km, Volterra is 32 km, Siena is 35 km, Florence is 65 km, Montalcino is 70 km, and Pisa is 120 km.

The Property. Surrounded by nature and immersed in a landscape of outstanding beauty, Villa Vittoria provides the perfect retreat for those seeking complete privacy and pure relaxation in the heart of Tuscany. This splendid residence, which has recently undergone a meticulous and loving restoration, still preserves the charm and tradition of a historical property dating back to 1400, and its sumptuous interiors perfectly reflect the villa’s rich past. The property features sixteen bedrooms (fourteen double bedrooms and two twin rooms) with en-suite bathroom spread across the main villa and the dépendance, both tastefully decorated and enriched with a multitude of beautiful paintings.

The residence is surrounded by an exquisitely kept garden where you will find a magnificent swimming pool and a Jacuzzi that can accommodate up to six/eight people. The spacious poolside area is furnished with comfortable sun loungers to bask in the sun, large parasols, and a gazebo providing plenty of shade on hot summer days, while the spectacular views of the surrounding countryside instantly give a sense of peace and calm, making the poolside area the ideal place for relaxing under the Tuscan sun. The garden also boasts a sauna, a synthetic-turf tennis court, and a generous al fresco dining area with barbecue, where guests can intimately spend time together while enjoying traditional Italian food. Near the poolside area you will also find a bathroom.

The main villa offers thirteen elegant bedrooms with en-suite bathroom spead over two floors. On the ground floor, the interior living space is furnished with comfortable sofas and armchairs with plenty of seating: as the evening falls, sit around the fireplace and relax while enjoying a glass of Vernaccia di San Gimignano with your fellow guests. On the ground floor you will also find a convenient half bathroom.

The ground floor also houses a large dining area made up of three adjacent rooms facing the courtyard, and a fully-equipped professional kitchen, which is reserved to the villa’s staff. On the ground floor you will also find an independent apartment featuring a comfortable double sofa bed in a private living area and bathroom with double shower. You can challenge your fellow guests to a game of pool at the table situated on the lower floor, which also houses an exceptional stone-clad wine cellar.

Accessed by a short flight of steps, the entrance hall leads to the other rooms on the first floor: six bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. A fresco double bedroom (near the main entrance) with en-suite bathroom with shower; a master suite with living area with a sofa bed (near the terrace) and en-suite bathroom with tub/shower; a green double bedroom (two twin beds that are pushed together) with en-suite bathroom with shower; a suite with double bed, living room, and en-suite bathroom with shower; and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom with shower.

On the same floor, you will also find a game room with corner bar, a small non-consecrated chapel, a covered terrace with outdoor dining furniture, and a TV room. Please note that the half bathroom (in the corridor near the terrace) is being transformed into a laundry room with washing machine, dryer and ironing board at the guests' disposal. Please note that the bar room will become a family room with TV, a comfortable sofa, and in addition to the fridge for the beverages and the ice machine, there will be a cupboard with refrigerator for guests' use, a dishwasher, a microwave, a coffee machine and a kettle.
