The villa is a stone’s throw from Florence, a treasure trove of art with an astonishing contemporary vibe. Beyond the extraordinary artistic heritage, a testimony to its centuries of civilization, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside avenues at sunset, or to get lost among the city’s myriad alleyways of the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow little streets of San Niccolò, where it feels like you have ended up in another time along its centuries-old walls.

The villa is just a few kilometers from San Gimignano, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Italy. From afar, San Gimignano looks like a town from a Renaissance painting: a circle of 13th-century walls enclosing tall, teetering stone towers. Its towers make it instantly recognizable, but the art treasures held within its walls are just as remarkable. Although the town is small, there is enough art, architecture and fine food to keep you busy for more than one day.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Siena. Its ancient red brick buildings, the scallop-shaped main square Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral Square, dominated by the zebra-striped Duomo, make it an absolute must for anyone traveling to Tuscany. Yet Florence is so close to the villa it seems you can touch the top of its Cathedral from the garden. Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, this magnificent property provides the perfect retreat for those seeking complete relaxation in the heart of Tuscany. Villa San Casciano can accommodate sixteen guests in eight bedrooms (six double bedrooms and two twin rooms) spread over three floors.

The 32-acres of the villa’s grounds are the perfect place to enjoy some quality time with the people you love, surrounded by majestic evergreen oaks and a one-of-a-kind panorama. All the facilities, from the swimming pool (which can be heated on request at an additional cost) to the sports fields, are designed to offer you exclusive and private activities to enjoy together. If you enjoy walking, the forest provides plenty of cross-country trails to follow for intimate and safe hikes.

The outdoor pool has been part of the villa for years. The pool is framed in local pietra serena stone, and the outdoor seating is of Italian design. Surrounded by pines, cypresses, and lime trees, the pool can be heated on request. The evergreen forest surrounds a regular-sized tennis court, with a well-maintained grass turf. Thanks to the goals on the side of the court, it can be used to play soccer. The villa offers three different places where you can eat al fresco: near the vegetable garden, the pool and the tennis court.

Every detail of the villa has been designed to offer maximum elegance and comfort. The interiors combine traditional Italian and modern influences: all the exquisite antiques are handpicked and merged with more contemporary work of art for a perfectly harmonious result. On the ground floor, the living area of the villa is the perfect place to relax. Read a book or watch a movie in the large living rooms, have breakfast with the whole family, or enjoy the best dishes of Italian cuisine in the dining room overlooking the gardens.

The ground floor of the villa consists of a bright and generous living area of over 250 square meters. The elegant spaces offer all the space you need for total relaxation and private retreat. All rooms, from the kitchen to the living rooms, have been individually furnished and equipped with top-of-the-line amenities to ensure the highest comfort. On the same floor, you will also find a convenient guest bathroom and a large master bedroom with king-size bed, a spacious closet and en-suite bathroom.

There are few things more important than a good night of sleep, so the first floor of the villa is designed to ensure that you always wake up happy and well-rested. All rooms are quiet and comfortable, with suite-level amenities and a breath-taking view from the windows. On the first floor you will find six bedrooms with bathroom. All the bathrooms are equipped with showers, and two also have bathtubs. Two rooms have twin beds, three bedrooms have king-size beds and one bedroom has queen-size bed.

An old dovecote, the ocher-hued tower is now a lofty living room that offers commanding views of nearby Florence and the emerald-green countryside. Between the second floor and the living room, there is the most private of the bedrooms in the villa, on a luminous and delightful mezzanine. The mezzanine consists of a double bedroom with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, while the upper level is a spacious living room with four wide windows.
