The villa is just a stone’s throw away from Florence, a treasure trove of art with an astonishing contemporary vibe. Beyond the extraordinary artistic heritage, a testimony to its centuries of civilization, the best way to enjoy Florence is to stroll along the riverside avenues at sunset, or to get lost among the city’s myriad alleyways of the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow little streets of San Niccolò, where it feels like you have ended up in another time along its centuries-old walls.

In one hour and fifteen minutes by car, you can reach San Gimignano, one of the best-preserved medieval towns in Italy. From afar, San Gimignano looks like a town from a Renaissance painting: a circle of 13th-century walls enclosing tall, teetering stone towers. Its towers make it instantly recognizable, but the art treasures held within its walls are just as remarkable. Although the town is small, there is enough art, architecture and fine food to keep you busy for more than one day.

The villa is also few kilometers from the medieval town of Siena. In less than two hours by car, you can reach Volterra, one of Tuscany’s most dramatic hilltop towns. Despite its many attractions, Volterra sees fewer tourists than other Tuscan towns, so you can expect to share its winding stone streets with locals and explore its ancient sites without crowds. Founded by the Etruscans and surrounded by medieval walls, Volterra has a notable historic center filled with fascinating Roman ruins, medieval buildings and alabaster workshops.

The Property. Located among the gentle Tuscan hills, Villa Agnes is a sumptuous Medici residence, an oasis of tranquility just a stone’s throw away from Florence. With all-round views over the green Tuscan hills, the property is the ideal place to enjoy a holiday in the company of family and friends. Surrounded by nature, the villa boasts an elegant atmosphere. Recently restored, Villa Agnes can accommodate twelve guests in six bedrooms (five double bedrooms and one twin room) spread over two floors.

Surrounded by vineyards and gardens, the villa boasts a calm atmosphere with idyllic spots for basking in the sun while enjoying the panorama. Located on a gentle hill, the lush garden surrounding the property offers stunning views over the surrounding countryside. Offering a serene atmosphere, the villa offers 34 hectares of splendid private estate and 11 hectares of lush vineyards just a stone’s throw away from the heart of Florence.

Dating back to the 16th-century and recently restored, this sumptuous mansion was formerly built as a past summertime residence for the mistress of the Grand Duke of Tuscany. With marble floors and monumental stone fireplaces, the villa boasts a spacious living room with wood coffered ceiling, a generous dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen with access to the outdoor area, and a reading lounge area complete with piano. With an exquisite blend of period charm and modern comfort, the property boasts a timeless atmosphere.

The villa can accommodate up to twelve guests in six bedrooms spread over two floors. On the first floor you will find three double bedrooms and two bathrooms with both bathtub and shower. Please note that one bathroom is en-suite, while the other is not (the other bathroom can be used by the other two bedrooms). On the second floor you will find three bedrooms: two double bedrooms and a twin room, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower.

Farmhouse (3 Apartments). Located close to the main house, the Farmhouse is a charming complex featuring three apartments. Each apartments has its own entrance and its own outdoor area with dining table and barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining. For each apartment, the entrance is on the ground floor. Overlooking the surrounding countryside, the Farmhouse boasts an exclusive pool, open from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and a generous poolside area equipped with comfortable sun loungers. From May to September, Villa Agnes can be rented together with the three apartments of the Farmhouse.

Located on the ground floor, the Apartment #1 can accommodate six guests in three double bedrooms, each with queen-size bed. Filled with natural light, this apartment features two bathrooms with shower, a living room with TV and a kitchen. 

Located on the ground floor, the Apartment #2 can sleep five guests featuring a double bedroom with king-size bed, a single room, and a twin room. The apartment also features two bathrooms, one with shower and one with both tub and shower, a living room with TV and a kitchen.

The Apartment #3 can sleep four guests in a double bedroom with queen-size bed and a double sofa bed. The apartment features a bathroom with both tub and shower, which is located on the ground floor, a living room with TV and a kitchen. From the living room on the ground floor, a few steps take you to the sleeping area.
