Borgo dell'Arciere is a part of a 30 hectares estate in the Chianti hills in Tuscany, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards, amazing landscapes and woods. The property is in a great position to explore the region just 20 minutes from the centre of Florence and 40 minutes from Siena. This is an idyllic hideaway in one of the most enchanting areas of Tuscany.
The property is well known for the archeology lovers for the Etruscan Tomb of the Archer, that is located in the property. The Tomb dates back to the 7th century B.C and it was discovered by a farmer working the field. Into the Tomb, now restored by the State Bureau of Archeology, the lower part of a large stele with a bas-relief representing a male figure armed with a large bow was founded. Visible even from a great distance it was more probable the memorial dedicated to an Etruscan Prince.
Borgo dell'Arciere now host a big farmhouse with its helpful staff that will assist you in organizing daily cultural visits as well as Gastronomic Itineraries and also wine and olive oil tasting and cooking classes in its large and well equipped kitchen. The villa is surrounded by a huge and extensive garden that surrounds the property and a swimming pool.
Borgo dell'aricere can accommodate max 19 people in its nine bedrooms and consist of: a Main house with 7 bedrooms and a Cottage with 2 further large double bedrooms.

The main house has 2 floors. On the ground floor we have a large dining room, a huge professional kitchen, the living and dining rooms open on an intimate garden with a beautiful view on vineyards and olive trees.
The villa is very well appointed with excellent and sought decoration. Every detail is of superb quality with beautiful fabrics, original paintings, abundant displays of fresh flowers, Oriental carpets, and fine antiques. But one its best is a sweeping vista of olive groves and vineyards that produce extra virgin olive oil, Chianti Classico and Merlot wine.
Layout of the bedrooms. On second floor of the main house we have 7 bedrooms. 3 DOUBLE ROOMS individually decorated, all with private bathroom, 20/25 sq meter. There is a ceiling fan in every room. 2 JUNIOR SUITE with private bathroom, 30/40 sq meter. There is a ceiling fan and a mini-bar in the room. Free baby cot on request. 2 SUITE with private bathroom, 50/70 sq meter, two of them are dependences with access from the garden. There is a ceiling fan and a mini-bar in every room. Free baby cot on request and possibility to add an extra bed for a third person.
COTTAGE JUNIOR VILLA
The Cottage is composed of one Suite with kitchen and living room and one Junior Suite suitable for 4/5 person. The Cottage is located in the garden of the property and has an outside patio for private use.
Il Borgo dell'Arciere is a perfect location for small special Family Meetings and Weddings: it is like a country home where friends and relatives can spend some days all together surrounded by the incredible Tuscan landscape. It is also possible to rent the Inn for Workshop and Business Meeting.
ON request the staff can prepare special dinner and lunches during your stay with organic fresh vegetables cultivated in the farm. Wine Tasting and Cooking Courses can be arranged on request.
