In less than one hour by car, you can reach Florence, a treasure trove of art with a vibrant contemporary vibe. Beyond its extraordinary artistic heritage, Florence offers the best experience by strolling along the riverside avenues at sunset or getting lost among the city’s myriad alleyways in the bohemian Oltrarno or the narrow streets of San Niccolò, where it feels like you have stepped back in time.

In one hour by car, you can reach the walled town of San Gimignano, one of Italy’s best-preserved mediaeval villages. As you crest the nearby hills, the fourteen towers of the town rise like mediaeval Manhattan. Despite its history, San Gimignano remains a popular destination for summer day trippers drawn by its palpable sense of history and enchanting setting. The historic centre is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and strolling through its streets will make you feel as though you have stepped back in time.

The villa is also a few kilometres from the mediaeval town of Siena. Its ancient red brick buildings, the scallop-shaped main square Piazza del Campo, and the Cathedral Square, dominated by the zebra-striped Duomo, make it a must-visit for anyone travelling to Tuscany. Siena, effectively an open-air museum celebrating Gothic architecture, boasts monuments that have preserved their mediaeval forms and exceptional art collections.

The villa is a few kilometres from Volterra, one of Tuscany’s most dramatic hilltop towns. Despite its many attractions, Volterra attracts fewer tourists than other Tuscan towns, so you can explore its winding stone streets and ancient sites without crowds. Founded by the Etruscans and surrounded by mediaeval walls, Volterra features a notable historic centre filled with fascinating Roman ruins, mediaeval buildings, and alabaster workshops.

Surrounded by rolling hills and wide meadows, Villa Le Bacche is a classic farmhouse set in a generous private garden with charming views of the surrounding countryside. This carefully renovated villa is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside in complete privacy. Offering a calm atmosphere, Villa Le Bacche can accommodate fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (six additional guests can stay in the Cottage, available on request).

Encircled by a lush garden, this magnificent property features an exceptional swimming pool and a generous paved poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to relax and unwind. The poolside area provides an idyllic spot for basking in the sun and enjoying moments of relaxation with a good book. The outdoor area also includes large parasols, providing ample shade on hot summer days.

Decorated in soft, natural tones, the carefully designed and maintained indoor spaces are very spacious and bright. The ground floor includes a generous, fully-equipped kitchen, a spacious dining area, a comfortable living room with large windows and doors opening onto the panoramic terrace, and a guest bathroom. Guests enter the villa through a traditional Tuscan loggia. All ground-floor rooms open onto the lush garden.

The villa accommodates fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms spread over two floors: the first and second floors. On the first floor, you will find six double bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms, and a common living room with a splendid view of the estate. Four bathrooms have showers, one has a bathtub, and one has both a bathtub and a shower. This floor also includes a laundry room. On the second floor, there is one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

The main villa accommodates fourteen guests in seven double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms spread over two floors. On request, six additional guests can stay in the Cottage’s three double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, allowing the entire property to host up to twenty guests. The Cottage’s ground floor includes a living room and a double bedroom with an en-suite shower bathroom, while the upper floor has two double bedrooms with en-suite shower bathrooms. A shared tennis court is available on request, subject to availability.
