With a generous fully-furnished terrace, lush gardens and expansive panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, this elegant seven-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a stylish break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. With a spectacular cliff-top setting facing the imposing Mount Vesuvius across the glittering Bay of Naples, it is no wonder the Amalfi Coast is a must-visit destination on everyone's bucket list.

The villa is just a few kilometers from Maiori, which is like an amphitheater at the end of Tramonti valley. Founded in the 9th century and rebuilt after a flood in 1954, today Maiori is a modern town. Tucked in between mountains and sea, Amalfi is a town best explored on foot. While Piazza Duomo and the main street are home to most of the town’s shops and restaurants, do spend some time wandering and exploring the quieter side streets, where you will find arched passageways, hidden gardens and tiny piazzas.

The villa is also a few kilometers from Vietri sul Mare, a seaside resort exceptionally renowned for its ceramics. The majolica-decorated dome and bell tower of San Giovanni Battista have almost come to symbolize this town overlooking the Bay of Salerno. Cooking utensils, plates, vases and tiles have been made here since the 1400s. In the mid-18th century, Vietri sul Mare became known as the majolica-makers’ district, a suburb of Cava de’ Tirreni.

The villa is a few kilometers from Ravello. Sitting high in the hills above Amalfi, Ravello is famous for its ravishing gardens and stupendous views, the best in the world according to former resident Gore Vidal. The Ravello Festival is a classical music festival held in the gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, and in a fabulous auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer. Originally built for the Rufolo family, Villa Rufolo was remodeled in the 19th century by a Scottish enthusiast who preserved the Arabic elements.

The sight of Positano from a distance is breathtaking. Color is everywhere, reflecting on the tranquil sea, the silvery pebbled beach and the gleaming Majolica-domed church of Santa Maria Assunta. The houses built up from the waterside, accessible to one another via an endless array of steep stairs, boast pale sorbet colors. In summer, when the serried ranks of sunbeds fill up quickly, take a boat to explore the many small coves up and down the coast.

Villa Saracena is 64 km from Naples Capodichino International Airport and 293 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. Maiori is 4 km from the villa, Amalfi is 9 km, Vietri sul Mare is 12 km, Ravello is 13 km, Positano is 30 km, Pompeii is 37 km, Sorrento is 40 km, Herculaneum is 53 km, and Naples is 61 km. The villa is located near the center of Maiori, where all the necessary services can be easily found.

The Property
Located near Amalfi and Positano, Villa Saracena boasts a generous fully-furnished terrace and expansive panoramic views, providing the ultimate retreat in one of the most evocative corners on the Amalfi Coast. Trapped between an infinite blue sky and azure sea, the spectacular cliff-top setting of the villa ensures superb panoramas. Offering an impressive sense of modern comfort, Villa Saracena can accommodate up to fourteen guests featuring seven bedrooms.

With spectacular views of the sea, the villa boasts a salt-water pool and a beautiful sundeck for basking in the sun and enjoying the fresh lemon-scented breeze. Surrounded by lush terraced gardens of lemon trees, the villa features a generous panoramic veranda with dining area and barbecue, and a comfortable shaded lounge area for relaxing and socializing. Offering a calm atmosphere, the terrace is the perfect retreat to sunbathe or sip a cocktail while enjoying the sea breeze. The villa also boasts private access to the sea.

On the ground floor, the timeless elegance of the modern interior living space is enhanced by vaulted ceilings, glass walls and large panoramic windows. On the ground floor you will find a spacious TV area with a comfortable L-shaped sofa, a lounge area, and a generous dining area with large table. On the same floor you will also find a spacious fully-equipped kitchen with all the amenities you might need during your stay, a laundry room and a guest bathroom.

Offering an impressive sense of comfort, the upper floor of the villa features a double bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom with shower and tub. Flooded with natural light, the middle floor houses a double bedroom with queen bed and a twin room sharing a bathroom with shower. On the lower floor you will find two queen bedrooms and two twin rooms, each with en-suite bathroom with shower.

The property also includes an exclusive wellness area with a massage room hewn into the rock. A small gym contains essential training equipment and machinery with the sea view that guarantees absolute pleasure and relaxation whilst training. Villa Saracena features air conditioning, heating, minibar and safe in each bedroom, hairdryer in each bathroom, TV with satellite channels and wireless Internet access throughout the property. The villa also features a parking space for two cars.

Retention time
