Located near Nerano, this modern six-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a stylish break on one of the most famous stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. At the tip of the beautiful Sorrento Peninsula, Nerano is a little-known and charming fishing village on the Amalfi Coast. Nerano is a tiny village built into the mountains overlooking a pretty little harbor below and is surrounded by one of the most untouched and dramatic areas on the Amalfi Coast.

Despite its attractive setting, what brings most visitors to Nerano is Marina del Cantone. A steep road leads from the village of Nerano down to Marina del Cantone, where you are greeted by brightly colored umbrellas lining the beach and the sparkling blue Mediterranean Sea. The pebbly beach hugs the gentle curve of the quiet harbor, and the beachfront offers one lido after another where you can rent sun beds and umbrellas.

To the west and south-west of Sorrento is a hilly hinterland, the sprawling Massa Lubrense, and a wild stretch of coast that developers have left untouched. The Massa Lubrense is home to hamlets and ancient look-out towers, a reminder of repeated invasions over the centuries, surrounded by citrus and olive groves. Set in the hills just below the ridge that divides Sorrento from the sheer southern coastline lies the village of Sant'Agata Sui Due Golfi, named for its domination of the gulfs of both Naples and Salerno.

The town center of Sorrento is laid out on a Roman grid of lanes, now lined with restaurants serving gnocchi and shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs. But away from the well-worn paths are little-explored nooks and crannies. The vaulted Sedile Dominova, once a meeting space for aristocracy, is now a working-men's club where old-timers while away afternoons playing cards. Then there are traditional greengrocers and haberdashers huddled behind wooden shop fronts, the medieval palaces and artisan workshops.

If Sorrento gets too much, the laid-back town of Vico Equense, which stands on a sheer tufa cliff just along the coast, makes an attractive base. Beach bums tend to head for the small pockets of sand tucked into coves at Marina di Vico and Marina d'Aequa, walkers tackle the old footpath to Positano, clinging to the cliffs on the Amalfi coastline, and culture hounds hop on the Circumvesuviana train to march around the ancient sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum, destroyed by the eruption of the Vesuvius.

Villa Nerea is 68 km from Naples Capodichino International Airport and 295 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. Nerano is just 900 m from the villa, Sant’Agata Sui Due Golfi is 8 km, Massa Lubrense is 10 km, Sorrento is 17 km, Vico Equense is 26 km, Positano is 26 km, Amalfi is 40 km, Pompeii is 41 km, Ravello is 47 km, Herculaneum is 57 km, and Naples is 64 km.

The Property. Situated on a sheer cliff with spectacular views of the sea, Villa Nerea is a luxurious and sophisticated residence doubling as a modern piece of art where minimalism welcomes guests with a delicate embrace. Trapped between an infinite blue sky and azure sea, this contemporary villa provides the ultimate retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners on the Amalfi Coast. Villa Nerea can accommodate twelve guests in six double bedrooms spread over multiple floors.

On the top floor, you will find a generous rooftop terrace overlooking Capri. Minimal in design, the terrace features an exclusive heated Jacuzzi, comfortable sun loungers and a fitness area under the shade of a gazebo. Fitness lovers will be able to keep up with their workout regimen without leaving the comfort of their own villa. The lower floor boasts an exceptional in-ground pool with waterfall overlooking the sea, complete with water jets. The outdoor area also features a dining area for up to 16 guests, complete with barbecue, and a lounge area.

Flaunting essential lines, the villa boasts two kitchens, a generous one which is ideal for lunch and dinner, and a smaller one which is perfect for breakfast. The larger kitchen is located on the upper floor, while the smaller one is located on the lower floor. On the lower floor you will also find a bright lounge area with TV. Designed to blend contemporary style with more than a touch of sea-house romance, the six bedrooms of the villa are spread over two floors.

Offering a tranquil atmosphere, three rooms are located on the first floor, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower. All the rooms on this floor have access to the same balcony with wonderful views of the sea. On the lower ground floor, you will find the rest of the bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom with shower. Please note that one of this room has no balcony and does not overlook the sea. Air conditioning is available throughout the villa.

Through a flight of steps of about 200 meters, you will access a first equipped beach, the one that can be seen from the villa. This flight of steps is accessed by a private gate in the villa.
You can access a second beach by leaving the main gate of the villa (where the parking space is located). You will go through a private path and, at the end of this path, you will find the second beach, partly equipped and partly public.

Retention time
