Location and Surrounding Area
Located near the heart of Positano, this bright six-bedroom villa is the perfect place for a stylish getaway on one of the most celebrated stretches of coastline in the Mediterranean. The view of Positano from a distance is breathtaking. Colour is everywhere, reflecting on the tranquil sea, the silvery pebbled beach, and the gleaming Majolica-domed church of Santa Maria Assunta. The houses rise from the waterside, connected to each other by an endless array of steep stairs, and are painted in pale sorbet hues.

Despite its mountainside setting, Praiano has always had a strong connection to the sea. Its ancient name likely derives from the Latin for “open sea,” as the town is perched on a cape along the Amalfi Coast. Praiano has long been known for fishing, including the crafting of nets and later coral fishing. This tradition is still visible at the Marina di Praia beach, often scattered with small wooden boats, fishing cages, and nets.

Amalfi, with its winding streets and staircases, is best explored on foot. While Piazza Duomo and the main street host the majority of shops and restaurants, take time to wander through the quieter side streets, where you’ll discover arched passageways, hidden gardens, and tiny piazzas. Sitting high above Amalfi, Ravello is famous for its breathtaking gardens and stupendous views, considered among the best in the world by former resident Gore Vidal.

The villa is also a short distance from Sorrento. The ancient town centre of Sorrento is laid out in a Roman grid of narrow lanes, now home to exclusive restaurants serving gnocchi and shops selling lemon-themed souvenirs. Yet, away from the main paths, there are lesser-explored nooks and crannies. From Sorrento, you can take the Circumvesuviana train to explore the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, both destroyed by Mount Vesuvius' eruption.

Villa Arienzo is 63 km from Naples Capodichino International Airport and 290 km from Rome Leonardo da Vinci International Airport. Positano is 2 km from the villa, Praiano is 6 km, Amalfi is 14 km, Minori is 18 km, Sorrento is 18 km, Maiori is 20 km, Ravello is 21 km, Vico Equense is 22 km, Massa Lubrense is 23 km, Nerano is 25 km, Pompeii is 37 km, Herculaneum is 53 km, and Naples is 60 km.

The Property
Located close to several beaches and less than two kilometres from the centre of Positano, Villa Arienzo boasts the most sophisticated design, providing a perfect hideaway in one of the most celebrated destinations on the Amalfi Coast. Nestled between an infinite blue sky and azure sea, the villa’s spectacular setting ensures superb panoramas. Overlooking the sea, this exclusive villa can accommodate up to twelve guests, featuring a main villa with four bedrooms and a dépendance with two bedrooms.

Surrounded by a spacious garden, the villa boasts a generous terrace with outdoor furniture and wonderful views of the sea. Outside, you will also find al fresco lounge areas for relaxing and socialising, along with an exclusive dining area where guests can enjoy intimate moments together. A private beach can be reached by descending approximately 100 steps from the villa. There are steps leading down to the sea, with a ladder for easy access to the water. An outdoor hot tub is also available. Please note that it is open from April 1st to October 31st.

Main Villa:
Flooded with natural light, the villa’s generous open-plan living and dining area features comfortable sofas with plenty of seating and a fireplace. In the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with a small breakfast table and all the amenities you might need during your stay, the majolica tiles beautifully complement the neutral backdrop of the walls, while the window framing views of the sea creates a luminous atmosphere. The spacious first-floor terrace is accessible from most of the bedrooms.

Reached via a staircase, the first floor boasts four double bedrooms, all with sea views and en-suite bathrooms. Three bathrooms feature showers, while one bathroom includes a tub and separate shower. Three bedrooms share a shaded terrace with a view. A safe is available in each room. Access to the villa is via a narrow private alley of approximately 300 metres that descends from the main road (where parking for two cars is available). The villa is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Dépendance:
The dépendance features two elegantly designed bedrooms, both with double beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and a safe for your valuables, ensuring a comfortable stay. The stylish bathrooms also come with a hairdryer, adding to your convenience.
