Thanks to its enviable geography between the eastern and western parts of the Mediterranean, Amalfi became politically and economically important to the Byzantine Empire, and a promoter of Christianity in northern Africa. Built at the beginning of the XVIII century and recently restored, Villa Achille provides the ultimate retreat for those seeking complete privacy and relaxation in one of the most evocative corners on the Amalfi Coast. Flooded with light, the villa boasts four double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom. Offering an impressive sense of comfort and style, the first bedroom can accommodate four guests (two guests plus two extra guests) featuring a large double bed and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room, which is connected to this bedroom. Overlooking the sea, this room boasts a large en-suite bathroom with shower, high ceilings with impressive decorations and Vietri ceramic floors.
The living room features comfortable white sofas with plenty of seating and a mezzanine level where you will find a well-equipped kitchen and a cozy breakfast area. The second bedroom is located in the attic of the ancient chapel. The villa has an ancient history having been a chapel at the beginning of the 1700s. This bedroom features a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. A particular feature of the room is the characteristic access staircase (fourteen steps) and thirteen portholes with charming views of the sea.
With golden walls recalling the color of the adjacent lemon garden, the third double bedroom (which, on request, can be converted into a twin room) boasts a large window and en-suite bathroom with shower. The fourth double bedroom has an independent external access. This double bedroom (which, on request, can be converted into a twin room) is accessed from a French window overlooking a panoramic patio equipped with armchairs. The bedroom features en-suite bathroom with shower and Vietri tiles.
