Maiori unfolds like an amphitheatre at the end of the Tramonti Valley. Founded in the 9th century and rebuilt after a flood in 1954, Maiori is now a lively yet laid-back seaside town. Tucked between mountains and sea, nearby Amalfi is best explored on foot: while Piazza Duomo and the main street host most of the shops and restaurants, it is well worth wandering through the quieter side streets, where arched passageways, hidden gardens, and intimate piazzas reveal the town’s authentic charm.

The villa is also a few kilometres from Vietri sul Mare, a coastal town renowned for its centuries-old ceramic tradition. The majolica-decorated dome and bell tower of the Church of San Giovanni Battista have become emblematic of this picturesque destination overlooking the Bay of Salerno. Ceramics such as cooking utensils, plates, vases, and tiles have been produced here since the 15th century, and by the mid-18th century Vietri sul Mare had established itself as a prominent centre for majolica craftsmanship.

With generous terraces overlooking the sea, this magnificent villa boasts an exclusive double-level swimming pool connected by internal steps, as well as a poolside area furnished with comfortable sun loungers, inviting guests to relax and unwind.
