4 Bedrooms (3 double, 1 with 2 bunk beds) – Outdoor and indoor pool
The romantic Chalet Dolomiti (living area 300 sqm.) just a stone's throw away from the Dolomites, a Natural World Heritage site. Formerly a hunting lodge of local noblemen, it dates back to the 16th century. It overlooks the town of Brunico and the Plan de Corones mountain and offers a breathtaking view of the Sesto Dolomites and the nearby Val Badia Valley. The magic of the mountain scenery is something you will never forget. Its elegance, charm and the unequalled panorama of the surrounding mountains make your stay at this Chalet an unforgettable experience. Giorgia and Stefano have bestowed this romantic place with noble elegance, skilfully combining a desire for sustainability with unassuming yet out-of-the-ordinary luxury. With great sensitivity the hosts combine traditional craftsmanship and modern aesthetics, thus creating a subtly sensuous retreat for their guests. Enclosed by a traditional wooden fence, Chalet Dolomiti welcomes its guests as they pass through the original elaborately carved wooden door into the quiet and relaxed atmosphere of a lived-in home. The soft furnishings and the elegant ambience of the vaulted rooms, the ancient wooden panelling of the corridors, doors and rooms convey the hosts' loving care for this special place. Hidden nooks and crannies, every detail full of charm.
Guests are invited to prepare their own meals in the tastefully renovated kitchen from natural organic products. If they so wish, they may let themselves be pampered by the lady of the house, who will introduce them to the secrets of the regional cuisine or entrust them to the care of a renowned chef. Large kitchen with barrel vault. The traditional wood-fired kitchen stove has its modern counterpart in a functional cooking hob, the stone sink is in perfect harmony with the modern dishwasher and the old timber fits smoothly into the practical modern layout. The kitchen is equipped with all essential state-of-the-art utensils.
An original goat shed built from natural stone along the outer wall of the lodge has been converted into a well-stocked wine cellar. Stefano will be delighted to acquaint his guests with South Tyrolean top quality wines, and once a week a professional sommelier familiarises them with the special oenological treats the region has in store for them. The warmth emanating from the open fireplace and the traditional tiled stove, the scents of essential oils and pristine nature will be around you, softly and unobtrusively, throughout your stay at Chalet Dolomiti. Within and without, in the open and in the chalet, the harmony of the scents of the woods and the soft light radiating from the mountains merge into one, inviting guests to slacken their pace and leave all sombre thoughts behind. Natural herbal teas, a leisurely walk on snow-covered paths or in the cool of summery woods - what more could one ask for to set your mind at ease and help you relax?
Ground Floor: Large hall with 16th-century vaulted ceiling; Day room with free internet access, DVD, TV SAT, I-pod docking station and children's games; Tea room Lounge and reading room, stereo set, small library; Dining room Traditional Tyrolean "Stube"; Kitchen Fully equipped kitchen, a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity
First Floor: each of the four bedrooms of the chalet is a world in its own right, each with a character of its own. What they have in common is the splendid view of the wide valley and the mysterious woods. The furnishings, in bright colours, are discreetly romantic, chosen with a love for detail, simply beautiful. What a joy to relax, to delight in the pleasures of the moment, to sleep soundly - and perchance to dream.
