The Property
Villa San Vincenzo is a historic home located in Alta Maremma on the Tuscan coast, between Porto Baratti and San Vincenzo. Set just 100 metres from the Mediterranean Sea, Villa San Vincenzo enjoys a privileged position surrounded by the Rimigliano Nature Reserve. It sits within a vast private park of about seven hectares, offering peace and privacy. Once a horse-changing station, Villa San Vincenzo sleeps up to 13 guests across eight bedrooms (3 double bedrooms, 3 twin rooms, and 2 singles).

Originally known as Casa Cavalleggeri, the property dates to the 1600s when it served as a horse-changing station. In 1939, Count Uguccione and Countess Lea della Gherardesca commissioned architect Tullio Rossi to transform it into a luxurious seaside residence. The villa was further expanded in 1957, blending timeless charm with elegant style. Uniquely, the property features a private cabin on stilts right on the beach, making it one of the very few homes directly on the sea in the area.

In 2014, a new swimming pool was added, complete with a sun-drenched solarium, ideal for relaxing under the warm Tuscan sun. A spacious terrace adjoins the living and dining rooms, perfect for enjoying al fresco meals or evening drinks while taking in sea views. Inside, the villa combines rustic charm with refined elegance. Surrounded by a lush garden, Villa San Vincenzo perfectly balances its rich history with all the modern amenities you might need for a memorable stay by the sea.

Throughout the interiors, warm natural materials and tasteful furnishings create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The ground floor includes a spacious living room, formal dining room, office, kitchen with pantry, and a guest bathroom. The villa sleeps up to 13 guests across eight bedrooms (3 double bedrooms, 3 twin rooms, and 2 singles). Additional rooms include a service bedroom with its own bathroom and a laundry/wardrobe area, ensuring convenience and comfort throughout your stay.
